First of all, being from NJ I would like to apologise to everyone for Frank Lautenberg. He is a dottering old dimwit that should be sitting in a home somewhere staring out the window. When he ran for the State senate in 1982 he made a big point of criticising his opponet Millicent Fenwick for being to old to serve at 72 years old. Now 88 himself, Lautenberg, if judged by his own criteria, would be hanging in the Louvre, but no, he haunts us still.


It is a testament to his uselessnes that he would try to jump on the Aurora bandwagon to further his "career", that is such a joke to even say, but this is how the truely stupid deal with life. Take advantage of the unfortunates, make money doing it.

My advice to people wanting to purchase ammunition - go to a gun show, use cash, avoid problems. Not that I'd DO THAT. Guns FRIGHTEN ME! I'll call 911 if I HAVE A PROBLEM.

I have bought ammo on-line from several sources, and never had to prove anything, except that I could pay for it. They all want paid first. Credit card or PayPal, they all want their money first. I have bought ammo, guns, and reloading supplies on-line. The guns are a pain in the ass, because you have to have them shipped to a licensed FFL dealer. That way, you can give them your ID and what ever they want. You have to jump through all the hoops to buy a gun on-line, but ammo is not a problem.

There was another news story a week or so ago where the news-caster said "In his apartment were several guns including some semi-automatics" (emphasis added)" What did this guy have some muskets and bolt-action rifles laying around? 99% of everything bought and sold in this country is semi-automatic.

Yeah, that could be. Wyoming doesn't keep track of anything. We also have a law that says since gun control is part of the interstate commerce clause, guns that do not cross a state line don't have to be registered. That was really cool when you could buy all the parts to build an AR without the FFL bullshit. Now you have to register a lower reciever like it is a gun. The part with the serial number is considered a gun. So now, only guns built from scratch can be sold without registering them if they don't go out of state. That's why all the on-line gun stores sell the surplus guns as parts kits without the reciever. They can't sell the serial numbered parts without registering them and sending them to a licensed FFL.

It all depends on what it is USED for. And if a person misuses a HAMMER, and bludgeons someone to death, then they should be prosecuted. Guns and bullets are TOOLS, just like a hammer. The ONLY thing we should make illegal, is the MISUSE of hat tool. Not the tool itself!

And when was the last time 1000 rounds of ammo was used in a crime?? What GOOD does it do, to make it more difficult (and expensive) for law abiding citizens to buy ammo? It's not as if these government sponsored Black Ops shooters are using THOUSANDS of rounds of ammo. The average gun crime uses NO ammunition, and if things go bad, they might use several rounds.

But even these mass killings aren't using THOUSANDS of rounds of ammo. This latest patsy had 6,000 rounds of ammo back at his apartment. SO WHAT? He was only able to use what was in his magazines!

This ENTIRE issue is about an EXTREMELY corrupt "government" relentlessly attempting to make it impossible to afford, or to buy guns or ammo, little by little. It has NOTHING to do with tying to stop crime! Gee whizzz... The highest officials in the land, are FELONS who have committed MASSIVE gun crimes THEMSELVES!

It all has to do with DISARMING the American people. Plain and simple. End of story. Were simply seeing the "solution" phase of a Problem-Reaction-Solution phase of a GOVERNMENT BLACK OP, with so many holes and inconsistencies in it, it's ridiculous.
