We may have a high crime rate, but our citizens do not get taken over by every rag-tag group of rebels that want to be in power. Nor do we fear "ethnic cleansing" as elsewhere in the world. Look where the crimes take place....always in places where the perps knows they are not allowed to carry. Never outside city limits where people have guns. Look at the recent Utah case...gun owner stopped a guy with a knife from stabbing people. When the threat is there, people back off. Guns don't make the people bad. People make the people bad. And when the good people have no way to defend theirselves, the bad people prevail. Look at your stats....armed robbery up 45%!!!! OUCH!!!
