HA HA HA. The Feds just gave $3.3 billion it doesn't have (borrowed from China) to California to build a whopping 130 miles of train from nowhere to nowhere. The bankrupt California is supposed to spend $2.7 billion it doesn't have.

Eager to hook states on higher spending, especially for high-speed rail, the Obama administration wants California to quickly spend $3.3 billion of federal funding (much of it borrowed from China, one source of Barack Obama's train envy).
