The only safe food right now is that which is grown indoors, where you control the air soil and water...until we know more. There are Aquaponics firms being started in the PNW because of this, and hopefully this willl catch on.
This is also extremely important for cannabis growers to know, as much is grown for medicinal purposes.
Or shop for produce from S. America, which Ive easily found at my local grocers in the midwest. This is of course much much MUCH more important if you have little kids in your household, or are expecting. Fetuses are 1000's of times more suseptible to radiation effects on health.

[i guess i am a bit of a wimp.] One more thing: after trying to avoid foods from possibly unregulated regions, such as in south america, now we find they are probably the safest bet. There should be a a global organization, dedicated to supplying food from conscientious farmers in safer regions to the American market. Thanks, morgan
