It was a non issue, just because we are used to power cuts, all households (lower middle class and above) were with backup power supply (inverter, generator, etc.)

It was not as bad it may sound, it needs to be rectified but no doom per se, industrial production got hit but they can recoup in following days....

6 Days with no utilities was enough for me here in south florida after hurricane charlie and 5 days of no utilities in tennessee after an ice storm is very unnerving to say the least!!!!

Hate to admit it, but yeah, i feel the same. You summed that up more than i'd want to.

Instead of prayers, if you're that passionate to help, why not excuse the gift of money or the gift of god and actually find some friends or family (or yourself) and get them to help their country with their situation.

Physical help would benefit them more than taking the easy route and praying for them.

No one is pushing any belief on anyone here. You could have easily navigated away from this thread or chosen to close your browser after reading for a bit if you disagree. Instead you chose to not only read, but to post as well. Why is it that people who do not believe feel that THEY have to push their disbelief on others through moronic and often really idiotic rhetorical sarcasm? Life is about choices retard... you can choose to accept belief in God or not. Just like you should be able to choose whether you want to eat McDonald's or Whole Foods. I (and many other Christians short of the dumb ass people like the Westboro Church) don't push our beliefs onto anyone. We will say we follow Christ and leave it at that unless others have more questions...

In other words, I don't care if you don't believe. I have come to the conclusion that, given everything we know so far in science (especially cosmology) it takes just as much faith to not believe in anything as it does TO believe in a supreme architect. I made a choice TO follow Christ, based on all I have learned and experienced in my life. Mainly it was the moral code that everyone seems to have within them that is counter to evolution by natural selection (which I know is true as well but does not explain the moral code human beings have developed.) The point here is, let people choose. Let people believe and walk with God, or not depending on THEIR choices. Because when you start forcing others to be like you it will eventually reach a point of using physical force... and then you will have a backlash. And if you think Christians are not allowed to use violence to defend themselves.. well, you have something else coming to you.
