i might have been convinced to convert to Catholicism except the one big problem; Mary worship. It just won't do. The rosary, the prayers to saints, it is truly idolatry.

I know Mary, she seems to be the toughtest to change about... It is easy, really, Our Lord gives you Mary, to
help you. She is like us, human, we can relate. She is
everyone's mother. Believe Our Lord would do this, He is
a giver. And His words from the cross, He gave all of humanity to His mother. "Woman, this is your son."

You know, if you accept the Eucharist, all the difficulties
will be less to you, Our Lord states in private revelation, you remain immature without the Eucharist. You'll receive the grace. Recall, when the Great Warning takes place.

Prayers to the saints and Mary? We are one big family
according to God. We pray for loved ones here, you can
ask the saints to pray to God for you, loved ones, an intention. Saints prayed their entire lives and wish to help us get to Heaven, all people on the earth.

I have to find it, there is reference to repetative prayer
in Scripture that please God. The negative constantly objected to is the Scripture "watch me" insincere prayer
of the pharisees. The Rosary is a mediation about the major
events of Our Lord's life and His mother along with Him.
She was there, less two. Less than the Eucharist but it
is so powerful in the grace you receive, praying the Rosary.
Start with a decade if 5 is too many. It takes about
17 minutes to pray a 5 decade rosary.

thanks for asking, hf

p.s. I must share, I think Once4All has a devotion to
Mary, this is really good, he writes of her on his website. God bless you Eddy.

Unfortunately, this is exactly my point. There is nothing in the New Testament that verifies these ideas. Neither is there anything in the Old Testament that "shadows" it either. There is just no basis for this idea that there is another person to pray to except God, Himself. None. There are, however, many times that the Scriptures forbid any 'devotion' to anyone but God.

Please verify you're human:
