High Frequency Sound in my Head?
During the last few days I've been experiencing what would equate to a high frequency type sound I'm hearing in my mind, especially during meditive prayer. However, today I was sitting alone reading and it came out of nowhere and it seemed stronger than ever. I decided to stop doing whatever I was doing and just listen. The high frequency sound then seemed to pulsate and remained strong and consistant. I walked out of my room and out to other locations in the building, and even went outside. The high frequency sound remained as I walked about. I grew excited about this and really started to focus the sound. I imagined that this is what it feels like to raise your personal vibration as I've read so much about. Eventually the sound began to fade, but it has been on and off all night, and I feel like I can switch it on whenever I want when I close my eyes and focus. I know that it is not something I'm hearing with my ears, but is in my head. It seems to be more powerful during prayer or when I'm in a state of happiness or contentment. This coincides with an overall change in attitude I have about life, love, God, the universe, humanity and our collective spiritual evolution. I began to let go of hate, anger, fear, sadness, doubt animosity, etc. and began to try to convey feelings of love and respect for all people I encounter. When I'm alone I often reflect back on my life and think about those I've hurt and those who have hurt me. I've asked for forgiveness for any pain I've caused to others and have made a conscious decision to try to reconcile any wrong doings in my past, whether that be through direct action or intent manifested as thought. Even as I write this to share with you all I can hear the high frequency buzzing in my head.

From birth, Your life experiences have been molding you and forming you into who you now are. All the mistakes, the pain, the love, and the losses were meant for you to experience.

We sometimes look for others who've had the experiences we've had so we can make connections with them, but no one really feels those experiences the exact way you do, that's what makes you "YOU".

As we've come to this current place in time, we've started multiplying the speed at which we learn and experience things. This makes our brains fire at accelerated speeds and work at higher vibrations and frequencies. During this time many are experiencing a high pitch tone due to the increased speeds at which they're learning and processing all this new data. You can also call this "raising your vibration".

A technological example of this is when computers started increasing in processor speeds years ago and reaching into the 1ghz plus range, they started putting out this high pitch tone that could be heard coming from the motherboard where the processor was seated. This usually occurred when the processor was using most of its capacity.

You are expanding your increased capacity at this time and your brain is actually putting out a higher vibration resulting in the high pitch tone you are hearing. As I'm writing this reply, I too hear the high pitch tone. I actually hear it most of the day, but its especially noticeable when there's silence and your brain is in deep thought and reflection.

My point in writing this is to congratulate you on your awareness and thoughtfulness of those you may have felt you've hurt. The fact that you acknowledged those feelings means that you have grown from them. You're not alone. Even those you feel you've personally hurt may have also reached a similar point in their life where they've began to acknowledge those that they've personally hurt.

As far as the high pitch tone, expect it to stay and get higher pitched until it's almost unnoticeable soon. Your vibration will continue to rise and so will this frequency.

Again, Congrats!

Peace and Love to all!

Re: High Frequency Sound in my Head?
Some describe it as the same phonetic sound as "OM" produced when vocalized/externalized.

"Ah-mmmmmm"

"mmmmmmm"

It is the sound of silence. The sound of Mu. The sound of the void of space. The root of mind.

"Ancient teachings and modern science agree: you, I, all living things, all things in existence are made up at their most essential level of vibrating, pulsing energy.

For millennia, mystics have recounted their experience of this energy, which is said to manifest in our hearing awareness as a humming vibration around and within everything else.

In the Sanskrit tradition, this sound is called "Anahata Nada," the "Unstruck Sound."

...

And the ancients say that the audible sound which most resembles this unstruck sound is the syllable OM. Tradition has it that this ancient mantra is composed of four elements: the first three are vocal sounds: A, U, and M. The fourth sound, unheard, is the silence which begins and ends the audible sound, the silence which surrounds it."

It is what it is, and cultures have always "picked up" on the eternal sound. It spans all cultures. Don't be focused on cultures, and who discovered what.

Just know that it exists, but why? What is the reason?

Re: High Frequency Sound in my Head?
I am extremely sensitive to high end frequencies "ultra sound" Some times it get's really loud. I hear it now but it's mild. The first thing I do when it get really loud is turn off the main breaker in the house, if the sound persists, well I just have to tolerate it. If it goes away I turn the power back on and track down the offending equipment , usually a crt tube or a defrosting fridge...
I was watching a house for someone a few weeks ago the high frequency sound there was horrible, I couldn't even sleep. I just fed the dog and left, it sucked.

Acoustic neuroma is a non-cancerous tumor that develops on the nerve that connects the ear to the brain. The tumor usually grows slowly. As it grows, it presses against the hearing and balance nerves. At first, you may have no symptoms or mild symptoms. They can include

Loss of hearing on one side
Ringing in ears
Dizziness and balance problems

Re: High Frequency Sound in my Head?
I've had it ever since reading various spiritual materials.
It always becomes stronger when meditating or reading sth spiritual.

What helps me is getting away from electricity.
If there's a charger around I'd hear this high-pitched sound.
If I unplug it - it goes away.

This may be related - brain works at about 10Hz. Electricity at 50-60Hz,
depending on the country. So when raising your vibration you tune into
electricity.

Actually I stumbled upon advice to stay away from electrical appliances
while meditating.
You can also google electrosensitivity.

Hope this helps.

Caused by emf from electrical appliance especially ones with no earth.
A sound or frequency occurrs in a persons head .
Hint".....look up earthing
This is a fact as the emfs build up in our bodies and cause many problems.
I am not saying that this is what op had but everyone needs to get earthed quickly and stay that way.study up on it.
People can now become earthed and discharge years of build up in our bodies and heal many health issues.

Earthing institute. Is good reading about the subject.

As wonderful as it sounds that you're hearing the sublime, mystical frequencies of the screaming orgasms of spacetime...Yeah...

Tinnitus.

Sorry, brother. Keep meditating and such though; it's highly beneficial.
Pursue Truth.

This hard, tangible thing we call reality: the chair you sit upon, the computer, your beverage, cigarette, the air around you, is composed of 99.99999...% Space. Contrary to popular belief, energy-mass does not define the Space, but rather is defined -by- the Space. The all-permeating Space is a vibrating, infinitely dense medium of geometric discretion; a cube octahedral vector equillibrium. This is the One existence, and the only thing that exists, simultaneously. There is nothing else.

We do not live in a "big bang" universe.
We do not live in a "created" reality.
Our reality is a perpetually -creating- model, and It is aware.
Space is aware.
I AM aware.
"God", some call it.

Most tinnitus sufferers (80%) hear the ringing at about 5.5khz. The ringing/humming typically described here seems to fall at about 12khz.

Try this test
[link to www.noiseaddicts.com]

The test only goes as low as 8khz, but if the noise you hear is a lower frequency than that, it is most likely tinnitus.

LOL - too many assumptions: highest frequency audible correlates to age, reproduction of used system PC speakers, headset, volume. You seem to be right about the 12kHz and up. I started to "hear" mine/connected to a mystical event I had when I was in my early teens. Then they still had TVs with flyback transformers running at about 18kHz what I could hear very well.
To put it to rest: there are old Indian text that relate the type of sound heard to ones stage of spiritual development.
BTW: when I do meditate on it this one sound is part of many. It's with me 24/7 since than and seems to become louder when I am relaxed (waking up, etc.)

Re: High Frequency Sound in my Head?
I'm hearing it at 19Hz, very fine thready tone.At 56 yrs old, and was told I had tinnitus at 38 yrs and given pills that I never took.

It disappeared after a few months in early 1991 and came back with a vengeance in 2007, faded out by 2010. And is back in 2012, whenever the solar gets very active.

I have several close friends that get it very loud. When we are around each other we always ask, and sure enough,,the tones start up at the same time.

When in doubt, ask family and friends what they are hearing, when it happens..

My wife has this, her doc thinks its a virus. We use a frequency generator, for tintinitus seems to help, but still come back.
Well try frequency's for Acoustic neuroma.
I see frequencies under tumors virus infection: could work for Acoustic neuroma [link to www.huldaclarkzappers.com] see frequency list.
If you have a fz generator.
