Yes, but with the difference that Spain's civilians confront corruption without fear, are AWARE of the manipulations, get very angry and continously take to the streets to express their anger. Spain has only been a democracy since 1976, theyve been thru a hell of a lot changes, they were the first western world country that started the "indignados" movement, on manistream national TV they speak openly and aggressively about political -fincial-or whatever corruption. I do not know whether or not in the end they will be crushed or whether they will make real positive changes, but at least they stand up and fight.
