It apparently does not. I don't know what the guy uses, but: my software compensates local declination not the phone. And there are millions of different phones out there. Do you really believe all of them ar having the same compass hardware?Where did I indicate I believe anything like that? Of course it would be the software *IF* there was compensation for declination. From what I found, there have been lots of problems with Android phones and compass accuracy.
