What the? What is wrong with you guys. The Sun is doing everything else but move? Its blasting us. Its poles are flipping. Its twisting our magnetospere. Its blasting us with photons. Its uv's have intensified, 9 Sunspots the other day. Its arching and connecting its sun spots now. and on and on and on it goes just like you guys. But hey, its not moving! Its Normal! If everything is normal then I guess it's just you guys that are fucked. I think it has changed in alot of ways includeing being in the wrong spot, higher and closer. My garden hates it. My plants are trying to get away.

Yes, Earth scientists, who are soo confused and bumbling and arrogant, somehow just sent another craft to soft-land on a distant celestial body. Must be dumb luck, since according to Waterbug they are baffled about Earth's axis and rotation.

The main cause of the wobble is the precession of the equinoxes - in 71 years it adds up to 1 deg.
The other changes are measurable but not visible.

You are wrong.

Yes, Earth scientists, who are soo confused and bumbling and arrogant, somehow just sent another craft to soft-land on a distant celestial body. Must be dumb luck, since according to Waterbug they are baffled about Earth's axis and rotation.
 Quoting: Menow 18943200

Don't put words in my mouth. I said they weren't sure.
 Quoting: Waterbug

Don't lie.
They ARE sure about the Sun not being in the wrong place.

Scientists aren't infallible. They are proven wrong all the time.
 Quoting: Waterbug

Not about observed facts.
Even if they had no clue that the Earth orbits around the Sun they'd still be sure that the Sun today is in exact the same position in the sky as it was one year ago.
Because they MEASURED and DOCUMENTED it.

The mechanics and interactions of the universe are still somewhat of a mystery. Why do you think they sent the craft to Mars..?
Just for kicks..?
 Quoting: Waterbug

NOT to determine the position of Mars.

They aren't sure about the amount of 'wobble'.
 Quoting: Waterbug

Stop LYING about such tiny deviations having anything to do with the Sun being NOTICEABLY out of place.

The path of the solar eclipse in May was calculated decades ago.
If the polar axis had tilted only by a fraction of a degree, the path would have been hundreds of kilometer off.
Same applies to the Venus transit in June.
 Quoting: Hydra

But.. the axial tilt has been ongoing.. this is not disputed... by real scientists, anyway.

How do you then explain the ability to predict an eclipse path years into the future..? It's because they know about it and take it into account when calculating.. as they do precession, etc.

And how do you know what I read or don't.. and what I believe or don't..

You must be a fucking mind-reader.
Can you read what I'm thinking right now..?
 Quoting: Waterbug

Thus since at least 1906 astronomers know about the sudden wobble of Earth axis in 2012?
Translation of a german astronomy book from 1906:
"The last two Venus transits occured on Dec. 8, 1874 and Dec. 6, 1882, the next two transits occure at June 8, 2004 and June 6, 2012."

But.. the axial tilt has been ongoing.. this is not disputed... by real scientists, anyway.
 Quoting: Waterbug

Sure the axial tilt is ongoing, with a period of 25,700 to 25,800 years

And how do you know what I read or don't.. and what I believe or don't..
 Quoting: Waterbug

If the shoe fits, wear it.
Seems you are the "F*ck, this wall never had sun" guy.

You must be a fucking mind-reader.

Checked the orientation of the house.. faces due south. I made it a point to orient due south when I laid out the foundation.
Checked the ground.. foundation hasn't moved.

Checked the framing around the window.. nobody has moved the window.. nor the wall in which it is installed.

None of your above "testing" does anything at all toward confirming an incorrect location of the sun in the sky.

It's always the same: "You can't tell me I don't see what I see". It's not about what you "SEE". It's about what you think you REMEMBER seeing or not seeing at some previous time and how you interpret that.

Re: Have You Noticed The Sun Has "Moved"? Post Your Evidence / Stories Here!
Lots of links - very impressive

 Quoting: Waterbug

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
How is this link related to a alleged non natural poleshift?

Global warming could change Earth's tilt
[link to www.newscientist.com]
 Quoting: Waterbug

"... the melting of Greenland's ice is already causing Earth's axis to tilt at an annual rate of about 2.6 centimetres ..."
"... cause the northern pole of Earth's spin axis to shift by roughly 1.5 centimetres per year ..."

Again you don't get the scale - It,s less than the Japan EQ - in the milli-arcsec range.

... snip ...

Evidence? For what?
Evidence, that you have no clue about what you are linking to.
Evidence, that you have no clue about scale issue.
Evidence, that you have no clue about trigonometry and how to convert the cm into degrees.
Evidence, that you just copy and paste, hoping that some people with as less clue as you fall for it.

Yep.. lot of links to articles and papers which I read to formulate my OPINION..
