Revguard User ID: 17954486 United States 08/01/2012 08:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21085583 Well than what would i be catagorized as? A spiritualist or something? Depends on your interpretation of God. But based on the little information that I have on your interpretation it might be Pantheist. Thank you. This is the first time I have seen that word. It fits me very nicely. I would of labeled myself agnostic. You have changed that for me. Thank you Psych. You're welcome. [link to en.wikipedia.org] Quoting: ArticleThe official views of the World Pantheist Movement are listed in the nine points of the Belief Statement (see external links). These are summarized as follows:[1] 1. Reverence, awe, wonder and a feeling of unity with Nature and the wider Universe. 2. Respect and active care for the rights of all humans and other living beings. 3. Celebration of our lives in our bodies on this beautiful earth as a joy and a privilege. 4. Realism - acceptance that the external world exists independently of human consciousness or perception. 5. Strong naturalism - without belief in supernatural realms, afterlives, beings or forces. 6. Respect for reason, evidence and the scientific method as our best ways of understanding nature and the Universe. 7. Promotion of religious tolerance, freedom of religion and complete separation of state and religion. Interesting stuff. I have some reading to do tonight. Thanks again man. However, in your previous quote you presented your definitions on atheism and agnosticism (see underscored). Hence my reference to the dictionary for a clear definition. I still do not know what's unclear with my translation. You are kidding, right? I mean, your "translation" was meant as a joke, right? Nope. Please translate "atheist" and "agnostic" into single English words. Thanks. Do you realize how many of english words have a greek/latin decent? Seriously, all the "romance languages" are heavily based on latin/greek words. Edit: There is no translation needed. These words are found in the Merriam Webster dictionary, and are even allowed in scrabble?! Last Edited by Revguard on 08/01/2012 08:05 PM |

In fact I know more about religion that some religionists I know. Get over it. There is nothing ignorant about saying "I have not seen the proof therefore I am not convinced there is a superior being". I would say it's a quite logical rather than ignorant. Now you can go ahead and believe what you want to believe, and I can go on disbelieving what I want to disbelieve. Why must you hate on people just because they don't believe in the same story you believe in? Hatred sucks, man. Christians are the most evil and idiotic people on the face of the earth. I do not subscribe to any trendy religion, my religion is consciousness and the multiverse... anyone who believes god is a being is a fucking moron... In that case, the best you can say is that you are not a Christian. But if you believe, love, and talk to God, regardless of your interpretation of God, you are not agnostic. Well than what would i be catagorized as? A spiritualist or something? answer this and it will clear things up. is the "god" you "talk" to a diety? No, the god i talk to is the all. I talk to the universe, I refer to god as source when i thank it for good things coming into my life. |

As for "Context is a b*** isn't she?" I still claim my translation is more accurate than the one of word "antisemitism" It's a-theist, not a-theos. Hence, without believe in God. Agnostic is indeed without knowledge of the existence of a God. Call it ignorant, whatever. The point is, Gnostic referred to those who claimed to have knowledge on the existence of God. But as there is no knowledge on the existence of God, it is kinda hard to be aware of that knowledge. Hence, a-gnostic And some people do believe God exists, but do not have belief in God? That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. Show me such a person who believes that and I'll show you someone who needs to up his dosage on his medication. Anyway, I am done for today, it's late. Don't forget to pray for me. Last Edited by Psych on 08/01/2012 09:11 PM |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1228240 United States 08/02/2012 12:41 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you believe in God, you have chosen to reject Allah, Vishnu, Budda, Waheguru and all of the thousands of other gods that other people worship today. It is quite likely that you rejected these other gods without ever looking into their religions or reading their books. You simply absorbed the dominant faith in your home or in the society you grew up in. Quoting: Axl 15279622 and why would that be? because you did? lol common mistake I find by way of much |
agnosticism= a holy religion User ID: 28041149 Australia 11/18/2012 09:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't mean it's a religion of angry, jealous or torturous gods, or newsworthy behaviour of high distress, I mean it's a divinity, paying reverence to gods, God, heavenly beings and infernal beings, heaven and hell. It's a religion, it breeds religious morality against other people's religions (though my agnostic morality is NOT religious and is strictly secular). Agnosticism is niceness, and softness, and modesty to religious people, nature worship, it's a spiritual influence of the soul, and it tends to attend no religious service but still worships the gods without praying to them. It's the drawing of religious pictures of various religions, and attempts at being irreligious are futile, agnosticism is not even conventional religion, there's a difference: it's a divinity, it's a faith in supernatural beliefs with the forests and trees and without God. And by never attending groups, it's designed never to go to church but to still act like an agnostic in public and people are going to think you're religious. It's not a peaceful, more "moral" religion, it's a divinity, therefore it starts holy wars like any god would, whether real or imagined. |

If you believe in Jesus then you shouldn't say "What the Fuck?" Jesus forbids you to say 'fuck'. So you shouldn't say 'fuck'. I can say 'fuck you' because Jesus doesn't order me around. Jesus can go to fucking hell for all I care. You should follow him there. Of course, I'm kidding. Jesus never existed. Jesus was invented in 325. |
