In reality this was a planned marketing ploy by the CEO. What a better way to get a virtually little known fast food chain all the free publicity it wants. More people, news agencies, talk shows are talking about this more than ever before.

The CEO may look like an idiot but he knows marketing.

The sad part is that he had to stoop so low (by insulting people's private sex lives) to get that free publicity. Maybe they can't afford regular marketing venues.

Sooooooo...the mayors of Boston and Chicago were part of this "scam" by Chick-Fil-A? If they'd kept their opinions to themselves (as gays are asking CFA to do) this would have all blown over without ANY media coverage.

Neither should hollywood or JC Penny's, GM, or Target etc. But they do! And they make official announcements about it and no one bother's them! This guy did not make an official announcement, I believe he expressed his personal belief when asked a question. It's his money, why can't he support the cause of his choice without facing persecution for it? CEO's have a life outside of business on occasion. Let them live it. When he expressed his belief was he speaking in his official capacity as CEO or just his personal beliefs?

He just knew he was going to be asked a certain question and his response would bring the gay's from hell on his ass and then a media firestorm would erupt and a public boycott appeal would happen which would lead to Huckabee's support for him and a call to support him on a certain day that damn near everyone in America would follow. Sure.

All I have to say is that if it is true that Chik-Fil-A has set a record, more businesses will follow suit. With this trying economy, businesses will do anything to fire up their sales. At first they were trying to go along with the gay agenda in hopes that it would bolster sales. That, however, was met with little success. Now that Chik-Fil-A has shown the way, you can be confident that every business in America, and probably the world, will be doing the same. The liberals, the MSM, and the Obama admin are about to lose control of this country. We are now setting up for a worldwide conservative wave.

That is the difference between us and them. We hate what gay people do but we don't hate gay people. However, gay people hate Christians and heteros with a vengenance. Gay people are the most hateful and intolerant human beings on this planet.

All it took was a chicken sandwich owner to to take a stand. Who would have thought that was all it would take to wake up the majority.

That's usually all it takes. Since that person is standing up for what's right, the rest comes naturally. I like to think that inside of every human being is a good person, so that good will come out when it is time.
