I agree however, retirement savings are a big deal not only in germany, if people realize, and I mean all of them, that this is not only a bad day, they will put on hold or cancel privat savings all together and considering how much money is involved this will trigger another partial collapse of institutions. The overall inflation of course will be the main driver but when more and more states are loosing the top rating the retirement fonds are not allowed (by law) to invest in them at some point they have to change the law as they have no place to go anymore either unsecure or negative returns! this will be fun! ... wait ... ohh boy ... my poor parrents ...

The financial speculation of the past 30 yrs has sucked the real economy dry.... there are almost zero remaining unencumbered assets remaining in the real economy to create new "commercial credit" with.... the central banks can create temporary credit that is quickly consumed by economic fire, but they cannot create organic long lasting credit.... credit backed by plant, production & assets... thats why any new QE, etc. is always less efective with each new round... Germany is merely the best looking nag in the glue factory.... when 10 yr Bunds went below 1%, the EU repo market went with it.... causing a growing price inflation while financial collateral depreciates & deflates.... this is why AU & AG are moving sideways when EU is in growing political, financial & economic crisis.... the ECB cant act w\o destroying itself as market forces are greater than they are.... so they play a game with the profane & ignorant that creates the illusion they are in control.... Merkel v. Draghi, Draghi v ECB, Germany v Spain, etc., its a side show to prevent the inhabitants of the EU from realizing their political elite are powerless against the market. If they realized this... the general populace would prolly rise up and start asking questions possibly resulting in a novo system of governance...
