River Phoenix has been dead 19 years but will appear on the big screen. At the bottom it said he died while filming it back in 93. You about gave me another mindfuck OP, thanks Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16505077 another? I don't think it will be released it the US though, which is sad. I'd love to see it and think a lot of people would. I think earlier this year Joaquin Phoenix stated that he would help with funding, but then suddenly backed out and denied any involvement. And that may have to do with the fact that the makers of Dark Blood tried to sue River's family for failure to disclose substance abuse issues. |

Oh and apparently you can still donate to the project even though they officially said they stopped taking donations on the website(I emailed and asked). If you donate enough(I think $50) they'll send you a copy of Dark Blood on dvd. |
