Second of all, homosexuality was removed from the lexicon of mental illness by the time the DSM IV was printed. The DSM V is currently being rolled out which makes no mention of homosexuality as a mental illness, but does go into paedophilia as a mental illness quite extensively as compared to the previous editions, yet does not connect homosexuality to pedohilia as a pathology.
