I just heard the U6 report that includes those who have just given up and are no longer receiving unemployment would place the true rate at 15%.
This is no where near where we need it to be to be in any kind of recovery.
Even the 8.3% that they will admit to is an INCREASE in the number of unemployed.
Quoting: Bluebird yes, the agreed upon "real number" is 15%, I've heard that from many sources. I've also heard that it could be as high as 30%!
