Alien invasion/meeting and Tech Singularity

For anyone into the Technology singularity such as myself, it is really difficult to grasp the concept of fleshed aliens coming down to meet us in person.

And when you get into this, you see intelligence on a whole new level. You start to accept that Ai and computers is the next step. And this steps evolves so quickly after space exploration, that it's hard to grasp the idea of space faring Aliens wanting to personally meet us. If it travels in space, it must runs computers. Technology will likely develop like any others across the universe.
The figure heads of this movement might be a bit optimistic in their prediction, but everyone know that if it doesnt happens this century, it'll be onto the next..wich makes very little difference on our historic scale.

A space faring alien race does not need the permission of officials to get to you.
It does not need your ressources, and probably does not need your attention either.
