I used to be able to squint and look at it for a half a second. Now, it's white and I can't even begin to try to squint and look at it. Aren't there scientists somewhere who keep track of the color of the Sun and the amount of energy coming from it?

Go to you local library and compare your spectrum with the suns spectrum printed in 50 or 100 year old astronomy books. .
