The 'end' has always been imminent. If there's ever going to be an end it will be either a gradual, almost un noticeable decline or a violemt cataclysmic, but completely natural end. No jesus, no aliens, no galactic fucking federation of wishful thinking. As with all species on this little pebble, we will become extinct one way or another. And good riddance to the biggest fuckup in earth's history.
