The handicapped son of a dear friend has been located! He is safe!

Noticed Escambia S.D. mentioned on first post. Even if they can't put out a missing person on him, they can contact SAR (search and rescue). Most SAR only work after being contacted by law enforcement. It takes them time to set up, plot a grid and assign, so the sooner they're on it, the better.

Maybe Mom could suggest SAR to the local law. There is a group Southwest Panhandle Search and Rescue that works through law enforcement.

Another group that works through LE is ESAR.... Escambia Search and Rescue, but they will also respond to private citizen requests. Their number is 850-474-1644.

The streets that I know of that he could have possibly gone down is mobile highway, Massachusetts, and Michigan Ave. In that general radius.

His mother attends Virginia College at Pensacola.

I always see reports of missing adults on our local news, which is major Phildelphia stations. They report on missing people with Alzheimers who wander away from home, adult women and men. Call all your local news stations and the police! Hospitals, too.

May Yahueh help this boy and all other innocent ones.

Erin (his mother) has called the police, all local hospitals including the navy hospital, driven around searching for him, checked with all friends in the area, contacted local media, and is currently checking with local shelters.

Please update this when you can and keep us informed and ingore the obviously challenged people who antagonize others. They have yet to figure it out that in doing this they do not make their own miserable lives better.

So far 23 people in fl have shared the info, many of the are LEO's I also forwarded the info to police, and animal rescue groups in that area

I hope he comes home safe. Have they thought of things he likes to do? There are a lot of small ponds/lakes around there and also the baseball fields. Does he know how to use the bus system? Would he have had any money on him?

Is there a certain store where she takes him to shop within walking distance of their home? ...Target, Walmart, supermarkets, etc.

Think of what a 10 year old likes...playgrounds, stores with toys, etc....

He might be found on a playground, basketball court, neighbor's swimming pool?

Good thinking. There is a 24 hr Walmart VERY near that area. Easy walking distance.

OMG....I will never forget an experience when my youngest daughter was around 2 1/2...at the most, almost 3...

I watched every move my two children made. We were in the house one day, and one minute I saw her, and the next, she was gone. We lived in Key West on the water, and I yelled to my husband to go to the water, and I'll go to the street. I was panicky, but I found her two houses away, smiling, and happily swinging on someone's swing set. I will never forget that day.
