Are you aware that your mentalvariable reality is highly divergent from true reality? Maybe the guy just didn't get into the movie. Maybe you shouldn't go to movies if you can't just watch the damn thing and enjoy yourself.

I hate hollywood remakes.... hollywood sucks now they always ruin good movies.

Movies certainly can serve as a major warning of a bad future to discerning viewers. The original, 1975, version of the movie, Rollerball, starring James Cann (not the more recent, lightweight remake) was the most clear, direct and prophetic warnings of of a future which included a NWO global corpatocracy as anything I've seen in the last thirty-six years. As we were leaving the movie after seeing the original Rollerball I told my wife that I sure hoped that the movie wasn't prophetic, but I was very afraid that it was.

Ever since then anytime I've seen signs of diminishing personal freedom or increasing corporate power over representative government I have flashed back to that movie, and I have frequently mentioned it to others in that regard.
