This does not address the alarming issues that our whole solar system is going through.

Our Sun is doing unprecedented things. (tons of threads on this site to do your due diligence)

Something turned Pluto a dark red color not too long ago.

Neptune has done a 90 degree shift.

Jupiter has lost bands or stripes.

Increased luminosity of Venus, Jupiter, Mars, etc - unlike any time in older people's lives. The planets have NEVER been brighter or more noticeable.

Increased meteors and comets.

We are seeing unprecedented Earthchanges, stuff out of the Bible that demand our attention.

The gulf event was due to seismic activity, plain and simple. That and poor planning on BP's part to deal with a disaster.

What we are dealing with is a HEAVY MASS object in space, a dark or dead star that is seriously screwing with our little planet.

It is most likely our Sun's old binary twin that has been described by so many of our ancestors. It makes it's pass through our solar system every so many thousand years and we get to start all over again every time.

This thread, is yet another distraction from the real truth.

Secondly, the US is not invincible. So to blame our nation for all of this misfortune is a bit of a stretch of the mind. But I'm certain other nations have no problem whatsoever as to how to enact revenge on us...

I ask you.....where is this so called "binary twin"???? Where is it at exactly??? Why have millions of people that watch the sky every night never found this so called "twin?"

My opinion is all these changes are caused by gamma ray bursts reaching earth and our solar system. For example, December 26, 2004 earthquake came just 44.6 hours before the brightest gamma ray ever observed at that time! No way in hell that is a coincidence! I believe maybe a superwave that is close to reaching our solar system is triggered supernova explosions as it passes through space.

Truth in this case is simpler and more direct than subjective entertainment.

So yeah, unregulated corporations cutting corners with profound consequences is more like it.

Oops, with one caveat. $$ comes first, ie preventing repop returning residents of New Orleans and plans to use the Gulf altogether sans productive people there for a few hundred years.
They wanted them gone, dead and succeeded.
 Quoting: DawaSatso

I don't even believe that New Orleans was a conspiracy. You had a idiot governor and an idiot mayor. The last Amtrak train left almost empty - they could and should have put the stay-behinds on the train and the pre-submerged buses and left town. Everyone could have left town. I vote stupidity not conspiracy.

That was just inexcusable.

You do raise an interesting question - have they ever tried using a thermonuclear weapon to take out a hurricane? I'll bet if you dropped a 1 megaton nuke in the center it would take it out in one blow (if the hurricane was overland there would be some unhappy campers on the ground, but that's another story...)

I agree with most of what you've stated here as adding to the mix of problems other than the bolded remark, this thread is in no way a distraction from the truth. It is in itself truth and a major EL problem that we must face just as the other is. Problem with both is we know they're happening but have no way of knowing when the truly disastrous chain reactions are going to take place, right now we're only seeing the initial changes.

My eyes see no borders, only souls in need of freedom from tyranny and murder, if that makes me un-American in your eyes than so be it but before you start labeling make sure you have the right people in mind. If you think for a second that you and your family are safe here and that TPTB actually give two shits about you, you're being sadly deceived.

Re: Corexit, Fukushima and Methane, a death blow to Earth???
[link to www.jpl.nasa.gov]

April 22, 2012

The fragile and rapidly changing Arctic region is home to large reservoirs of methane, a potent greenhouse gas. As Earth's climate warms, the methane, frozen in reservoirs stored in Arctic tundra soils or marine sediments, is vulnerable to being released into the atmosphere, where it can add to global warming. Now a multi-institutional study by Eric Kort of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif., has uncovered a surprising and potentially important new source of Arctic methane: the ocean itself.

"While the methane levels we detected weren't particularly large, the potential source region, the Arctic Ocean, is vast, so our finding could represent a noticeable new global source of methane," he added. "As Arctic sea ice cover continues to decline in a warming climate, this source of methane may well increase. It's important that we recognize the potential contribution from this source of methane to avoid falsely interpreting any changes observed in Arctic methane levels in the future."

OP-Can you be more specific and explain in layman's terms what the effect of both these will be on us?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21385951

I am no scientist my friend, a citizen journalist, watchman on the wall and guardian of humanity are my claims. We need real scientist, not being coerced, to step forward and bring us truth on what is about to transpire here however in a nutshell we believe the following to be true:

The gulf current has stopped due to the oil spill causing irreparable climate change, droughts, deluge etc etc...then they added Corexit to the mix, summarily killing all life in the gulf and mutating anything that is left including bacteria and viruses, add then the fallout from fukushima and these mutations increase exponentially causing deadly outbreaks around the world, very possibly becoming pandemic in nature. According to early2it's studies some of these mutated bacteria are eating away at the layer of methane that covers the globe and this is increasing exponentially as you can see from the sinkholes and gaseous releases occurring all over the planet however specifically around the gulf states that reside over brine deposits. If that methane is released en masse it will rise to the upper atmosphere mixing with the oxygen as it goes become highly volatile at which point it is a distinct possibility that it could ignite scorching the surface of the planet.

I have not spoke much about the Synthia virus that was released by the scientist that developed it (the first man-made life-form) which was also subsequently mutated by the corexit and fallout and, contrary to popular belief, is the cause of the so-called zombie outbreaks.

Most of what I'm saying here is scientific fact that can be validated, the rest is simply connecting the dots. Please do not take our word for it, do your due diligence in researching the topics, the data is out there for all to see, it just requires some time and digging.

Edited for content: Hurricane Ernesto is now headed directly for the gulf, once it hits the now very warm waters (9 degrees above normal) it will experience a massive increase in size subsequently picking up contaminated precipitation from the waters and spreading even further around the globe.

Re: Corexit, Fukushima and Methane, a death blow to Earth???
[link to www.weather.com]

In a landmark 1988 study, Hansen predicted that if greenhouse gas emissions continue, which they have, Washington, D.C., would have about nine days each year of 95 degrees or warmer in the decade of the 2010s. So far this year, with about four more weeks of summer, the city has had 23 days with 95 degrees or hotter temperatures.

Hansen says now he underestimated how bad things would get.

When Hansen conducted his study he was not able to include the worldwide increase in methane releases, the stalling of the gulf current and the significant increase in solar radiation that is heating the core of the planet causing it to expand resulting in mass geologic upheavals that are furthering trapped greenhouse gas releases and you can top it off with "post glacial rebound". We have major problems here folks, this planet IS in significant danger of fighting back and repairing herself.

 Quoting: siniXster

You have to compare temperatures to 1935/1936. That is the last time it was this hot. Did that for Tulsa and we aren't even close to a record year.

Go read wattsupwiththat.com and get up to speed on the issues.

Hanson said in 1988 that the earth is going to be 3 degrees warmer due to CO2 in 2020 (eight years) and that isn't going to happen.

Currently we have about 0.2°C degrees of warming due to UHI, about 0.15°C due to CO2 and the rest is due to natural forces or confirmational bias (they adjust the temperatures to retain upward biases and cancel downward biases because they think the temperature is going up.)

It is also my belief, as well as many others, that the chemicals they are spraying in the atmosphere, containing aluminum oxide, is reflecting the sun light subsequently reducing (in number alone) the overall temperature, smoke screens to cover the true nature of the problems.

Scientist are now predicting the distinct possibility of a 100yr or longer drought in the U.S. alone, data supports this theory as does the glacial melt around the globe. The core of the planet is heating up as well due to the increased solar activity, she's already expanded by 27 miles and her rotation is slowing, these symptoms can no longer be ignored.

Huh? Really? There is actually two parts to this:
1. What proof do you have that this is happening?
2. What proof do you have that this is bad?

Scientist are now predicting the distinct possibility of a 100yr or longer drought in the U.S. alone, data supports this theory as does the glacial melt around the globe.
What is your proof? Any evidence that includes the word model is going to be assumed to be an admission there is no proof.
The core of the planet is heating up as well due to the increased solar activity,
I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. Any with an engineering degree knows heat naturally flows from a for a sink to a source (entropy increases and systems tend to thermal equilibrium). To move heat the other direction requires a system that does work to transfer the energy. So the surface is not heating the core.
Perhaps the rate of heat loss from the core is less? Well - look up the coefficient of heat transfer for 6-20 miles of granite (or whatever your favorite rock is). Lets take granite at a coefficient of 2.5. We will use 10km for the thickness of the crust and 600°C for the upper mantle temperature. The average temp of earth is 15°C . Since sunlight etc. is measured for a sq meter that is what we will use.
Law for heat transfer: q = k A dT / s
Heat = 2.4 (W/m*K) * 1 m2 * (600 - 18) K / 10 km * 1000 (m/km) = 0.13968 W
To give some perspective - the sunlight striking the earth at the equator is 1000 W/m2.

The energy of the mantle at 600°C, assuming quartz is:
E = Ef + Et = (50.21 kJ mol-1 + 70 J/mol*K *(600+273))*2.6 x 10-5 m3/mol = 4281538462 J/m3
To change the temperature of the mantle 1°C takes 70/2.6E-5 = 2692308 J/m3. And that is just for 1 cubic meter of mantle.
It's pretty obvious it literally takes millions of year to have a measurable effect.

she's already expanded by 27 miles
Huh? The earth since creation has shrunk 600 km. If the earth had increased in size in the last ten years the GRACE mission scientists (the US gravimetric satellite) would be dancing around with Nobel's and it would be published in scientific journals.
and her rotation is slowing,
The earth's rotation is always slowing because of drag from the oceans and the moon. There is some frame dragging energy loss as well. Everyone knows it is slowing down, that is what leap second adjustments are all about. This isn't news.
these symptoms can no longer be ignored.
I have ignored these symptoms for over 1/2 century. I will probably ignore them for another 1/2 century. The statement that these symptoms can't be ignored is simply untrue. Besides, all absolute statements are false, including this one.

Updated to convert numbers to 600C for consistency

9teen BUMP, it's about time we started looking at the Gulf of Mexico again. So many people seem to think that just because it's not on page 1 anymore that the problem has gone away.

Hey Op,

It is always interesting to see what the cat drags in on a thread like this one. My cat likes to drop half eaten mouse carcasses by the door, I see you are getting the same result here at least on occasion. A lot of good input along with the half eaten intestines.

People are funny, the stupid ones, why, they are aggrivating and they always send at least one or two to each thread, so we just have to deal with them as we do. Most regular folks are ok, but they do not see very well and are very afraid of the thought that things might not be as stupid easy tomorrow as it is today, so they hide in denial which is understandable.

If you have the ability to track game through the brush then you will understand that it is a rare breed that can see the slight signs and little clues that allow you to see things that the cellphone dwellers cannot even imagine. The signs that I see along the trail today are fairly obvious to me and they are leading towards something that gives all the impressions that it is not going to be good, not good at all. Like you say, all we can do is keep our eyes open and live our lives to the fullest while we can.

In the meanwhile I think I'll pour me a tall glass of ice cold Corexit, it hear is it as good for you as milk. Cheers!

Checked out your prior posts and you seem to think the problem is economic in nature - might run into you on one of the economy/finance threads...

I recommend drinking it with Vodka (like a White Russian). Use standard bar snack mix as a side dish (pretzel bits/chex/peanuts).
