Being as I am one of the guys from the lab, I am bound to concur with Cave.

Nuclear weapons are based upon the fundamental physics that structure our universe. Not only are they real and do they work, it is not possible for our universe to be as it is without the possibility of their working.

To fuuny OP The Gentlemen seated in the first row secound over is my father in Law Walter Keller he is a physicist you can wikpedia him if you wish..

At Aperture Labs we figure out how science works through several methods, but mostly human testing.

Science works by observing reality, then forming a hypothesis about the mechanism, then designing tests to test that hypothesis, then observing the results of those tests. Science is a disciplined process.

Oh they work alright.

Its just that they cannot detonate while moving..and in order to detonate they need to be in a VERY precise symbiosis between the earth the sun and the moon..ya cant just press a button and expect a bang..all three bodies must be lines up in synchonicity with the device..which mean there are only two times in any given day a bomb can be detonated..and it MUST be STILL for it to work.

Nuclear missles CANT work..bobs on towers CAN..but ONLY at certain times of day.
