Interesting, weird reports about things going on overhead. Light and Love to all, fear not, we are one.

Nothing out of the ordinary since my last post.

Its too hot to sit on the patio anymore so I am going inside -- but I will keep my camera with me just in case.

I suspect, however, that wherever they were going -- they are all going to similar destinations -- thus the reason for them all leaving so close together.

the elite are getting out of Dodge!!!!

Well I wonder since Meacham Field is one of those places that mainly is used by private jets. But these were not little lear jets -- they were large, passenger jets.

there's still air traffic here -- but its 'high' .... as per normal. I am only looking for the ones that are low over my house -- because THAT is unusual.

I was lounging with my eyes closed and hear the first one -- jet engine whine, but not the ordinary roar like you get when they are really 'up there'.

I opened my eyes and there it was, right over head and I thought, "Wow, that's unusual.". Then I closed my eyes again.

About 5 mins later there was another one and this time I sat up and studied it and I said, OK if there's a third one -- then I getting the laptop out and making apost -- because that is definitely something strange.

Then the third one -- so I went in and got my laptop.

Then there were more... I got one on my phone --- but like I said I was fumbling and so it just didn't turn out that great.

I almost got another on my regular camera -- but it flew over when I was fixing the date/time stamp on it.

And there hasn't been another one since :-(

did they all get the 'boarding' text?

this is how I was before NATO. basically any time Obama comes to chicago, I get to sit outside and look at cool planes.

2012!!

Well I uploaded what I could... hard to tell really how close the 'close' ones are because they are already ascending & flying 'away' from me -- but its obvious how much closer they are than the 'far' one -- which is what I typically see every day.

I would say that if I had caught one of the close ones directly overhead (like I was trying to) it woudl have taken up at least 15%-25% of the 'square' from my pergola. It was that close when it was right above me....

Which is why I was thinking that they must have been taking off from Meacham field.

Only problem with that is that I am not sure whether Meacham field is rated to handle a passenger jet as large as the ones I saw.

Im from northeast texas (Mckinney)....there must be a reason for the low traffic....anyone "important" flying today, like the prez ??
