Hidden Agenda? No. I´m just thinking further. Girls nowadays are used to their well shaved boysbands since their young ages. They think that their partner must be like that in the future: well shaved like a pussy.

To me, this is just plainly wrong because growing a beard is natural.

Women tend to marry solid, cleanshaven guys but they love to play with guys with facial hair.

I'm a guy who mixes it up. I'm usually cleanshaven but frequently have a trimmed goatee. And I agree that men look better with some style of facial hair that suits them.

Yep, I don't understand it either. When I was working a retail job some years back, I decided to grow out my beard to give my skin a break from shaving. Immediately, I started getting the "I don't like the beard" comments from all the women on the job. What's worse, I found out that I was being stalked by a woman coustomer who apparently did not like me in a beard. One day I was talking to a customer when this woman stalker came up to me and said "I've been watching you for quite a while and I used to like you -- but now I don't like you anymore because you grew a beard." The stalker then walked off. Both the customer and I were stunned at what just happened -- but he did give me some advice which I took -- "I would keep the beard if I was you."

thats not true, some women like them, i think its like all things they suit some guys better than others..the most handsome guy i know personally has an amazing beard, the end hangs a bit below his nipples almost with two dashing grey streaks from his mo down.cant say about the tickling bit soz.

one must be careful when growing a fully fledged beard... just ask your local vagrant/tramp... there predicament usually arises from a too hastily approached quest to grow a beard.

It's an interesting thing. I personally don't like beards because I cannot see the man's face and I think it interferes with picking up on social cues-non-verbal stuff. Plus, I don't like Santa Claus. You ever see kids go nutz when you take them to see Santa Claus.

We just aren't used to seeing men with beards here in the US. During the 1950's, a clean shaven appearance was required for social acceptance. The hippies with their beards were only doing it as a form of rebellion. I think in America, there is a social issue concerning beards. Women have issues with it. My husband had a goatee and I thought he looked smug. Course, I think he's a smug, arrogant jerk frequently, though I do think he's been working on it. Still, he can't control himself if he has done something that he shouldn't have done and has gotten away with it, he will brag about it. I find that absolutely unattractive. He has shaved off the goatee and I think we get along better, though I don't know what part of that is because of the beard or no beard.

My oldest son is lazy and doesn't want to shave. Since he has a disability, I will allow him to grow his beard out some, but I still think he looks better without it. I want to get his pictures done, but he will have to shave before I'm getting them taken.

I agree. If JFK had grown a beard, a chunk of his head wouldn't have ended up on the back of the motorcade.

beards are symbolic of protection. The justice chakra is in the chin.

Doesn't have to be a big beard but, some hair is nice. it can be short, not even a full beard. Just some hair there is nice IMO.
