Ron Paul Democrat Mark Clayton nominated in TN, Then disavowed by State Democratic Party
"UNBELIEVABLE. Mark Clayton, a Ron Paul Democrat, ran for Senate office in TN and WINS nomination! What does the Democratic Party Establishment do? THE SAME THING THE GOP ESTABLISHMENT HAS BEEN DOING. Anyone trying to point the finger at the banks and police state, is labeled an extremist."

Democrats have become party of the Federal Reserve.

There is pretty much zero anti-Fed sentiment within the liberal ranks. Digging their own graves, really.

'Democrats Cast 97 of 98 No Votes Against Fed Audit'

"Maxine Waters (D-MI) voted to audit the Federal Reserve. 97 other Democrats including key leaders of the Black Caucus were coerced to vote against HR 459 which calls for a full audit of the Federal Reserve and its largest banks. The House Democratic leadership has long fought to stonewall against Rep. Ron Paul’s bill to audit the Federal Reserve system. We can trace this tainted relationship between the Federal Reserve, Wall Street and the Democrats back to the Clinton/Rubin administration and the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act.

"The Clinton/Rubin partnership put in gear the Federal Reserve’s derivative hegemony machine that thrives as a parasite on America’s organic economy. For starters, it has destroyed $6-$8 trillion in working class wealth from mortgage losses by American families from derivative based products that in turn led to “too big to fail” bailouts that cannot be curtailed on the grounds of national security. The need to constantly feed liquidity to the derivative monster to keep it afloat is contributing to our deficits, transferring trillions of dollars of working class wealth to Wall Street while starving our economy of trillions of dollars of capital. It is a sad epitaph that the working class has been so easily gang raped financially by bankers, corporatists and tax dodgers with so many participating Democrats."

I guess since no one else will give the other side of the Audit the Fed Bill, I will. The Bill not only calls for an audit of the Fed but also sets up a Congressional Commission to over see the Fed. The Fed has always made fiscal policies based on data provided by Scientific models. The Dems are concerned about letting Congress push Political motives into the equation. The Democrats agree the Fed needs to be audited but some other type of over site needs to be implemented. I'm sure you small government types would agree.

I suggest a group of citizens be picked like a jury to hear what Fiscal Policy the fed wants to take and give them the final say. If the policy is too complicated for the average citizen to understand then maybe that policy is trying to hide something.

You're a particularly vile shill. The Constitution is explicit -- only Congress shall have the authority to print and coin money. Political? You're god damn right it's political.

I didn't say I agreed with either side. But the Bill as it stands has problems. Why didn't they stop with just the audit of the Fed. Congressional over site of the Fed would become Political much like the Supreme Court has. Would you be OK with a Democratic run commission overseeing the Fed? How about a Republican led Commission? Do you see my point now?

The oversight is simply a step in the process of abolishing it completely and establishing parallel currencies outside the reach of government.

Scientific models eh? Well you do get some impression of science when Bernanke testifies, and even Greenspan. But who knows what the is really traded in the Open Market Account? This is not really covered in Congressional testimony.

A group of citizens? Sounds nice but that would end up being a group of financial insiders. We should have monetary policy under political control, much as that would give heart attacks to central bankers worldwide.
