Kill a guy that deserves it fine. Mutilating him shows a serious lack of morals and self restraint. Quoting: RAgnor 20239359 A couple points: 1. This has nothing to do with Syria. Polk Country Florida is in the US. 2. "sick f***s"? There was no mention of sexual practices in the article. 3. The people in Syria are, in large measure, shooting unarmed civilians. Again, no comparison. 4. Where does this "mutilating" come from? The article does not say he was mutilated. 5. "He had just shot a deputy eight times." Since there was probably more than eight officers that surrounded him, they actually fired less shots per officer than he did. 6. "He had just shot a deputy eight times." Sheriff Grady Judd appears to have been determined to avoid recidivism. 7. The attacker died of natural causes. Last Edited by Poriwoggu on 08/08/2012 08:56 AM Poriwoggu |

Polk County Florida Sheriff - "You kill a policeman it means no arrest...no Miranda rights...no negotiations...nothing but as many bullets as we can shoot into you...PERIOD." POLK COUNTY FLORIDA SHERIFF, GRADY JUDD An illegal alien, in Polk County, Florida, who got pulled over in a routine traffic stop, ended up "executing" the deputy who stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued. The murderer was found hiding in a wooded area. As soon as he took a shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the guy 68 times. Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68 times. Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel: "Because that's all the ammunition we had." Now, is that just about the all-time greatest answer or what! The Coroner also reported that the illegal alien died of natural causes. When asked by a reporter how that could be, since there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied: (BEST QUOTE ever) . . .."When you are shot 68 times you are naturally gonna die." As far as the actual incident: A liberal spin - [link to www.thedailybeast.com] And a balanced view - [link to www.snopes.com] "As DiOGi closed on the suspect's hiding place, Freeland shot the dog in the chest from close range at an upward angle, killing it. He then fired on nearby Deputy Williams, wounding him in the right wrist, left bicep, rear left thigh, right leg, right buttock, and upper right arm. One of the shots penetrated to the officer's spine. Freeland then approached the immobilized man and delivered two shots to Williams' head at point-blank range, finishing him off." Just to put a point on things: the deputy was paralyzed and unable to move when Freeland at close range put two bullets behind his ear. "Deputy Speirs heard the shots from a nearby ridge, moved towards the sounds of the gunfire, and was shot at by Freeland. The two exchanged fire, and the deputy was wounded in the leg. He radioed for help and made his way out of the woods." 'Afterwards, when called upon by the media to make a statement about the manhunt and its outcome, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd told various reporters, "That's all the bullets we had or we would have shot him more. Quite frankly, we weren't taking any chances." ' In response to the Florida Civil Rights Association's complaint that the police had shown disregard for human life when they shot Angilo Freeland after an all-night manhunt, the U.S. Department of Justice asked the FBI to look into the matter. In November 2006, the latter agency announced it would investigate whether authorities used excessive force in the incident. In June 2008, the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) announced it had cleared the Polk County Sheriff's Office of any wrongdoing in the incident, stating: "After careful consideration, we concluded that the evidence does not establish a prosecutable violation of the federal civil rights statutes. Accordingly, we have closed our investigation." The DOJ did investigate and found no violation. Poriwoggu |

How did we get so screwed up as a nation to continually pity the "poor" criminal and save our anger for those protecting us? Totally ass-backward. I applaud the sheriff and think that if criminals had any real fear of law enforcement, you wouldn't have the violence in this country that we do. |

The pile of scum was in a fire fight with the other injured officer. They are TRAINED to give detailed descriptions and I'm sure he fit the exact description and the injured officer then was able to identify the dead loser. There was no mistake here at all. If the police are satisfied in this instance then so am I that the correct person got the correct punishment! One last piece of evidence, ballistic testing of perp's gun!
