Mexican vacation doom warning
Hey Glprs,

This is absolutely true and has me spooked badly. I live in Missouri and work my ass off daily for the local msm. My wife and I like to go to the maya Rivera once a year to get away from it all and have a break from the kids.

At my work, I have about five people in my department. So we are pretty close and talk a lot about our families and vacations and all that. Well I sat down to book my trip. I booked a sweet hotel, a nice flight with only one stop in Dallas. I did buy trip insurance. We have been very excited. Two of my fellow workers were so impressed by the deal that I got, that they started looking for trips as well. One of them booked one and is going in October. Another was so excited and spent a ton of time looking and asking advice from me regarding where to stay and other info because she has never been. Her husband came in one day and we all talked about it. They were both absolutely thrilled with the idea.

A week or so later, she came back from visiting her parents and sisters in Virginia. She told me something strange had happened when she mentioned Mexico to her dad. Both her parents work for the government. She does not know what they do. Both have classified jobs and in 30 odd years have never said more than vague concepts. He does something with computers and I can't remember what she said her mom did. Anyway, she was telling her dad about how we were all planning trips to Mexico in the fall. She said had never seen her dad act the way he did. He turned completely white shook his head and said, "DO NOT GO TO MEXICO!" her response was to begin to argue with her worried parent but he was absolutely resolute. He repeated his warning and got angry. "You are not going to Mexico! She said was so stunned she couldn't really argue or prod him for info. When they dropped her off at the airport, he warned her again saying simply," promise me you will not go to Mexico."

She told me this story when she got back. She tried to talk me out of the trip saying the look in his eye meant there was more to this and he couldn't talk about it but to trust him. They are very close.

Anyway, I am canceling my trip and will only lose a few hundred bucks. But I pose this question to my friends at Glp. What could this mean?

I swear this is completely true. I'm bummed I will now have to go to Branson for gods sake. But I remember when the anthrax scare hit Washington. I had two friends whose dad a doctor sent them two prescriptions for Cipro and told them to get them filled two weeks before the incident .

So what could be going on in Mexico in sept and oct?

Thoughts?

Likely to do with the drug cartels. There's been a lot of kidnappings.

Oh good grief!

That is everyone's response to Mexico. They hear about cartel crime that is highly publicized by the media.

I just got back from a 6 week vacation in Mexico. Absolutely lovely and a lot safer than my own neighborhood.

the real danger is in Tamaulipas México and the roads to get there, its a gory place and people with no souls rule the roads like zombi ancient cowboys with ak47 and granades, other states youll get the average danger just like other places in the states, or even much less, if you travel by plane to a place like cancun youll be super fine, just relax and enjoy a margarita

While your anecdotal experience is "interesting", how is it relevant to OP's questions about September & October???

you are reading too much into her father's reaction.

he was merely getting angry and insistent because he
couldn't believe that his son-in-law could be so stupid
as to take his daughter to Mexico, when it is obvious that
all of Mexico is a g.d. WAR ZONE.

yes, you are an idiot.

My sister and husband go to yuma every winter. My mon joined them this spring before they came back to canada. They went across in thru the baja into mexico. She said it was really strange because there were towns that had emptied out completely. Hotels just sitting there pools full of sand booze still in the bars. The locals the poor ones were still there. There were rumors that some scientists were down there quite a few of them and had some kind of meeting and conference and then all left. After that eveyone started to move out and shut down? Just a story but the place was empty?

Cartels?? are you kidding me? Have you not been paying attenton to the message boards lately? According to John Moore and other message boards, a planet size object is on its way to our solar system{planet X, Nibiru etc...} all the bases on the east and west coast have 2 weeks to evacuate inland. so sometime between Aug 17 and Sept 23 it is supposed to be closest to earth causing catastrophy and gigantic wave action{giant tidal waves} so going to Mexico would def not be advised!!

I even told her. Hey your dad is worried about the cartels no biggie because you would be way south. She said NO! He was adamant about ALL OF MEXICO. I pressed her because I wanted to see if there was a good doom story or insider and she just kept saying he refused to accept that she would go to Mexico. I told her that he had probably not been to the Mexican Riveria and apparently his job takes him many places and he is quite familiar with Mexico. I'm sorry but I know this lady. She makes fun of my doom and conspiracy theories but this one is real guys. Something is going to happen down there in the next few months. I don't know what but it's something more than a worried parent. This is a true insider warning his daughter and I know her.

ALL of you people are mis informed...yes heed your father's warnings

DO NOT GO TO mexicao...

You know why those trips are so cheap? because less and less people are going there

The violence there is out of control and by next fall will be worse

beheadings;kidnappings

do not go....

I use to work in new mexico for about 3 years....

IT

The border was dangerous then ....this was 8 years ago

The business I was at would routinely send out company emails

warning its employees of the dangers of going over the border for a weekend get away...

It would say ...they cannot guarantee your safety and if anyone was not going to heed the email...then to please report to the site

HR office and tell them where you are going in Mexico so, if anything happened they knew were to look....

this is the truth

Do not go

the violence on americans is increasing there

There are so many neat ; safe nice places to go in the US

why go to the place of drug violence, devil worship...sacrifices...

this is the truth

The doom is real and it is bad very bad; evil

no matter what it is from

Devil worshipers; sacrifices then?

I use to work with some of these people and they were very much into a weird form of catholisism -voodoism--witchcraft- satanism all rolled into one....

yes

they would routinely sacrifice an animal to their god in order to get what they believed their gods would give them as far as material things

it is my belief these types have increased their sacrifices to include humans
