Paul Not Given Role at Republican Convention

We must recognize that Romney is pulling in millions upon millions of dollars for the GOP. More than Obama and his campaign is fear mode.

Lots to weigh and lots to analyze. I am waiting to see the support Paul gets at the GOP. That will be telling.

Why dosnt Paul call a press conference and say 'The Republican party has been taken over by neo cons and loonies and I cant be a part of it anymore' It would create a stur, grab a ton of PR for him and give the USA a real chance at pulling out of the lie of the two party system.
He should do it on the eve before the republican convention. Those bastards want to laugh at and ignore the Paul movement and all his followers...fine. Paul should do it without the GOP. WHAT have they done for him? I know he is an old school GOPer....but his party has left him in the dust as they sell out to the highest bidder.

There is no way in hell they will allow Ron Paul to have a part of this convention.

Why?

To answer that you need to understand that the Republicans only allowed Ron Paul to call himself a Republican in order to get some Independent voters to vote Republican.

They realized after the fact that they may have let the "Fox into the Hen house".

The Republicans will continue to slowly marginalize Ron Paul and his supporters until after the election. At that point (if they win) they will dis-own the Ron Paul supporters.
(if they lose) they will attempt to give the Ron Paul supporters some credence until the next election.

Sounds to me like there will be more liberals speaking at the republican convention than there will be at the democrat convention.

Paul is the only one running for pres that can make a real change.
Romney is a white Obama. They have identical political ideas (untill romney lied his way to frontrunner)...Romney has held every opinion possible on every subject. To vote for him would be a huge mistake. Obama cant fix this mess because he plays by the rules given him. Paul dosnt.

If Sarah Palin is allowed to speak at the convention (and she has stated she was extended an invitation of some sort), then we will know the whole GOP gig is over. IMHO.

OTOH, most of us know TPTB will put into power who they want, as seen with the Supreme Court decision with George W. Bush in 2000.
