I was obviously a bit frustrated and referring to obscure acronyms, which I stated a few posts later. Someone wrote something that was quite interesting but had an acronym that was pretty central to the post, and it was so obscure that I'm sure it wouldn't show up on a search (by the context I could tell this). This person's (interesting) post was from August 3rd, so I doubt very much that if I asked him/her about it, she would even see my question.

But I agree, the opening post was not written in the most persuasive manner.
