Harry Reid and Romneys Tax Records---- A Different Perspective.

In another thread, Nightwisp made the following post. i wrote a reply to it, but the reply did not really follow the thread at all so I have it here on a new thread:




That may very well be the point of what Reid is doing.

There are very few ways to give your political opponent some strong ammunition against a politician in your own party that you despise and forthem to not realiize it until it is too late.

In other words, based on some of the things I'v seen out of Reid, my opinion is that he doesn't like Obama or Hillary very much.

If he came out and made a unsubstantiated claim about unreleased tax records, that would leave Obama in a very very vulnerable position.

Think about it. Obama has actively hidden his records for years, and is now vehemently chomping at the bit for Romney to release his "hidden records", the Tax returns so the Democratic party can make hay out of them.

Now, today, we see Donald Trump acclaim that Romney should do a "trade". Release his tax forms if Obama releases his records.

If I was Romney in a debate with Obama and this topic came up now, I would eat him for breakfast on it and force him to release or lose face and votes. Too easy to make Obama look like a idiot and allude to criminal behavior if he refuses.

So, What is it? Reid being senile or stupid? I don't think so.

He just may be playing hardball to give Romney just what he needs to hammer Obama.
