I have three young boys who love the Journey to the Center of the Earth books and movies so I have gotten into the subject with them. Hollywood is certainly helping to raise this question with the younger generation today. Also, after watching the video, I kept finding the name "Asgard" familiar and then I realized that is mentioned repeatedly in the new movie "Thor" as his homeplace. I just found the reference interesting considering this youngest generation is being inundated with info about the inner earth. |

"Is Perkins and Big Boy as low as we need to go, or should we have McDonalds, KFC, and Taco Bell too." There are some times it would be nice to come to the forum, see a conspiracy all gift wrapped, and just oooh and aaaah about it. When I come to these half-baked threads and have to do real thought (like computing that the effect of Fukushima on Californians is the equivalent of them standing on their roofs), it is a real pain.
