This is the Ebola Sudan version and doesn't have the same mortality rate as the Zaire strain. The Sudan version mimicks the Marburg virus in many ways. The part that is different with this compared to past outbreaks is that it can take up to 21 days for symptoms to appear plus the symptoms start out like the common flu. Instead of bleeding out and kicking the bucket quickly, it takes wks.
