Great post, OP -- I have some questions for you. In the video about Joseph of Vatopedi's prophecy, he says an angel would "sensibly" appear (that's obviously a crappy Google translation, so what does it really mean?) and bring "sedation" upon the men on the battlefield. Well, sedation would usually mean they'd be unconscious, but then he said it would cause great hatred so that they'd all kill each other. Is there a better translation of that particular word than "sedation"? Thanks!
Quoting: sylvie Thank you Sylvie! Sensibly is not the correct word indeed, it means that this angel will reappear to the soldiers fighting and will make his presence more felt more than the first time that he appeared and brought sedation among them. Sedation is not the perfect word they could have used, Joseph uses the word "methi" which means drunk/intoxication, they won't be unconscious, but they won't be able to control their feelings and actions, something like a spell.
