There are many different factors. Saying its vaccines 100% of the time would be a lie.

Sure some people maybe effected by vaccines giving them a food allergy they didnt have before or something worse; but, everyones genetics and bodies are different so what happens to one person wont happen to the next.

Re: Food Allergies & Vaccinations---Is there a link?
Not sure about the connection with allergies, but I got vaccinated at one year of age by the military when my family got sent overseas. I do have a severe allergy to cats, and to dust, etc., ever since childhood (with asthma)...

Anyway, I don't trust vaccinations at all, because they sickened my daughter (who was in perfect health at birth: she rated a "10" on the first apgar -- very rare for any newborn). Both the baby vaccines and the one she got for Hepatitis(?) when a teenager (for school, of course), made her very sick.

After the baby shot, they began giving her 'alternate' vaccine formulations. However, I don't think they were as careful when she got the Hep shot. She doesn't seem to have recovered well from that one. She's weak, etc. (she thought it might be Mono at one point, but wasn't that). She acts like someone with Epstein-Barr syndrome (low energy).

What really angers me, is that the government and the AMA, FDA, etc., aren't held accountable for mistakes (or for malicious practices, for that matter) -- so there's nothing to keep them in check, very dangerous situation for all of us.

I'm also aware that many military personnel have complained of becoming very, very ill from their vaccinations; and that lots of people believe they've been used as unwilling, unpaid, and uninformed 'guinea pigs'.

Are you aware that the American Pentagon has a department of scientists who study ~genetics, for the purpose of warfare? How hard would it be for them to formulate those vaccines so that they would only target people with certain kinds of DNA? Not that difficult, when you have that kind of funding.

I also think there's something strange about vaccines, especially flu vaccines. The flu has always been around so why do we need a vaccine for it? Our bodies usually fight it off, isn't the vaccine bad for our immune system?

Re: Food Allergies & Vaccinations---Is there a link?
I have tried to explain the dangers of vaccinations to my younger sister. She has two small children who are allergic to EVERYTHING...and I do mean everything! Because of these allergies, they both suffer from severe asthma. My sister has tried everything her doctor has told her to do. THAT, I believe, is problem number one!

The thing that most concerns me is that his very same doctor also stresses to my sister the importance of getting these young children their flu shots every year. He tells her because of their asthma, they cannot afford to get sick. I tried telling her these flu shots could be MAKING them sick but she is in serious denial. Her thinking? Surely my child's doctor would not suggest I do something to make my children sick. She makes herself feel better by ridiculing me as a "conspiracy theorist" so I cannot even get her to look at the evidence.

I fear for my niece and nephew but what can I do? These doctors should all be tarred and feathered for selling out to big pharma!!!

I agree with you. American doctors benefit from keeping their patients sick, not well. They make more money off of sick people than healthy ones. That's a big problem for all of us.

I have asthma, yet I hardly ever get the flu or even colds (only had flu maybe twice in my adult life, ~twice while a student -- and the first adult episode immediately followed a flu shot, in the mid-70s). So, I NEVER get vaccinations anymore. None.

I'm also very irate at the fact that TWICE, while in hospital following the births of my second and third children, a nurse came in with a filled (but unidentifiable) hypodermic needle and informed me both times (six years apart) that I needed a vaccination against "german measles". The first one puzzled me, but the second time it happened scared the crap out of me. I was shocked. Yet, they were very insistent ("Dr.s orders..."); and had me poked before I could even think about resisting. (Not to mention the fact that a woman is most physically vulnerable the day after giving birth.)

Re: Food Allergies & Vaccinations---Is there a link?
As a early childhood teacher I see a lot of kids with food allergies. Looking back to when I was a kid I don't remember as many kids having allergies like they do now. I remember kids having an occasional peanut allergy, or sometimes milk but not as many food allergies as I'm seeing today. It seems like now and days every kid is allergic to something whether it be gluten, milk, eggs, fish, peanuts..etc.
So this all got me thinking, why are food allergies on the rise? Is it something in the water? Maybe it's the actual food? What could it be?

Scientists are linking food allergies in children to none other then...vaccinations.
[link to vactruth.com]

“In the US alone, 5.6 million people – 2% of the population – are allergic to peanuts and nuts almost all having experienced onset as toddlers. This epidemic tipped into critical mass around 1998 when the first flood of allergic children entered kindergarten sending a shock through education systems. Prevalence of the allergy increases with parental income, education and accessible health care. It does not increase with consumption. In developing countries where peanut consumption is high, the allergy is virtually unknown. In the west, children who have never eaten a peanut experience reactions on initial exposure to the food.
Immunologists claim that this allergy is an immune system abnormality. This view is contrary to that of Dr. Charles Richet, who identified and named the condition anaphylaxis in 1901. Richet proved that anaphylaxis is an inevitable side effect of vaccination” [link to www.whale.to]

Hmmm...that's funny because aren't autistic kids linked with vaccinations?

This is why I refuse to get my flu shot!

Autism is associated with Rho-gam shots, more so than vaccinations. Most autistic children are Rh+ with mothers who are Rh-.

(By the way, I'm not allergic to either peanuts or wheat.)

Of course there is a link.

Vaccines can be good, some of them.

but when a child is given the mega vaccines today it reeks havoc on their young systems and it usually becomes irreparable.

And don't think for a moment that it is not intentional.

Interesting to see this thread today as I had an allergic reaction to a peach last night blink

I'm in my late forties and have never experienced such a thing.

I did have all my vaccinations as a kid but they sure didn't require as many back then as they do now.

Don't know what happened, but as soon as I ate the peach my ears to my throat started itching, my chest felt funny and I broke out in hives - strange.

Took some benedryl and it passed in an hour or so.

Sorry if this it off-topic - but weird.

With many vaccine being suspended in peanut oil, this is the reason for the violent reaction that kids have to certain peanut products.

My father-in-law was an avid peanut eater until many years ago when he had a severe reaction on day.

He gets the flu shot & pneumonia shot every year. I blame those for his peanut allergy.

A vaccine does not got directly into the blood stream. It is an intra-muscular needle, so is deposited into the muscle.

Another possible cause in my opinion is our very sterile lives. Everything is disinfected now, all the food we eat too, we are germaphobic, we use soap all the time and disinfect everything. Whats to say that since our bodies aren't encountering all the germs they would have once upon a time, and are instead attacking other things they perceive as a threat: food.

Something is definitely up and I'd like to see more research instead of sweeping it under the carpet. I know of a child that can have an anaphylactic reaction from minimal skin contact with the allergen. Its crazy.

Polio for one.

But the big thing about vaccines are the amounts and varieties that are given at one time. It is a cocktail of several that shocks the system so bad that it rewrites the immune system into a mutated mess.

Anything that is synthesized is mutated and has side effects.

Sometimes less is more. Do not go too far overboard with antibacterial soap either. Try to avoid it altogether.

The best thing that you can do for yourself and your children is expose yourself to as many germs as possible and pray over and give thanks for your food.Let the body build up a strong immune system naturally.

I used to get allergy shots and take meds for back pain.
God opened my eyes and delivered me from that and I do not even take aspirin and have not been ill for over 8 years now.

I clearly remember OP, that that the word "allergy" was introduced in the mid 60-es. Until than we have not even heard of people being over-sensitive to food.

There was "hay-fever" and ekczema, but that was it - nothing else.

& no - since i am old - i did not have as many of the vacc. as compared to the modern kids. So maybe vaccines may not be the sole cause of food allergies.

I think there's a difference between "intolerant" and "allergic" when some kids have peanuts they break out in hives when you have gluten you get an upset stomach.
I think gluten is having to do with the over processing of foods.
