Food Allergies & Vaccinations---Is there a link?

I also think there's something strange about vaccines, especially flu vaccines. The flu has always been around so why do we need a vaccine for it? Our bodies usually fight it off, isn't the vaccine bad for our immune system?

I have tried to explain the dangers of vaccinations to my younger sister. She has two small children who are allergic to EVERYTHING...and I do mean everything! Because of these allergies, they both suffer from severe asthma. My sister has tried everything her doctor has told her to do. THAT, I believe, is problem number one!

The thing that most concerns me is that his very same doctor also stresses to my sister the importance of getting these young children their flu shots every year. He tells her because of their asthma, they cannot afford to get sick. I tried telling her these flu shots could be MAKING them sick but she is in serious denial. Her thinking? Surely my child's doctor would not suggest I do something to make my children sick. She makes herself feel better by ridiculing me as a "conspiracy theorist" so I cannot even get her to look at the evidence.

I fear for my niece and nephew but what can I do? These doctors should all be tarred and feathered for selling out to big pharma!!!

As a early childhood teacher I see a lot of kids with food allergies. Looking back to when I was a kid I don't remember as many kids having allergies like they do now. I remember kids having an occasional peanut allergy, or sometimes milk but not as many food allergies as I'm seeing today. It seems like now and days every kid is allergic to something whether it be gluten, milk, eggs, fish, peanuts..etc.
So this all got me thinking, why are food allergies on the rise? Is it something in the water? Maybe it's the actual food? What could it be?

Vaccines can be good, some of them.

but when a child is given the mega vaccines today it reeks havoc on their young systems and it usually becomes irreparable.

Interesting to see this thread today as I had an allergic reaction to a peach last night

I'm in my late forties and have never experienced such a thing.

I did have all my vaccinations as a kid but they sure didn't require as many back then as they do now.

Don't know what happened, but as soon as I ate the peach my ears to my throat started itching, my chest felt funny and I broke out in hives - strange.

Took some benedryl and it passed in an hour or so.

With many vaccine being suspended in peanut oil, this is the reason for the violent reaction that kids have to certain peanut products.

My father-in-law was an avid peanut eater until many years ago when he had a severe reaction on day.

He gets the flu shot & pneumonia shot every year. I blame those for his peanut allergy.

I am 55 years old & I am intolerant to Gluten..
& no - since i am old - i did not have as many of the vacc. as compared to the modern kids. So maybe vaccines may not be the sole cause of food allergies.

The death rate from the flu has actually gone up since the widespread use of the flu shot.

Vit. D3 is more effective in preventing the flu than anything else. I don't get the flu shot & I don't get sick......period.

Yes I have known lots of people to actually get sick from the flu shot.
What's pissing me off is since I work with kids every year my work tries to make it mandtory for a flu shot and they wait til about Septmeber to let us know.
I'm sorry but if it's mandatory this year I may have to quit which is kinda bulls**** but I pride myself on never getting the flu shot.
