Interesting to see this thread today as I had an allergic reaction to a peach last night I'm in my late forties and have never experienced such a thing. I did have all my vaccinations as a kid but they sure didn't require as many back then as they do now. Don't know what happened, but as soon as I ate the peach my ears to my throat started itching, my chest felt funny and I broke out in hives - strange. Took some benedryl and it passed in an hour or so. Sorry if this it off-topic - but weird. Quoting: Stumpy McDougal Have you ever eaten peaches before? Maybe it was something in the peach that wasnt agreeing with you. Quoting: Haelo They'll do that, if they're not ~ripe enough. A ripe peach should be a bit soft (not hard or very firm).
