Make sure you boycott whatever garbage this idiot is selling. I just saw 3 TV commercials in a row that, yes again, depicts some stupid white person with a "wiser black person.". Getting sick of it. The 3 TV commercials were all insurance corporations. Farmers Insurance, State Farm and Geiko. BOYCOTT THEM!!! |

The commercial starts with a white guys voice but he then says, "This is fity cent".. something about feeling like a white guy. It goes on for a minute and then he starts to talk like a thug after he drank the sk shit! WTF Quoting: Nostril Domus "If you drink his shot, you won't sound like a wimpy white guy no more." |

Settle Down User ID: 21561278 United States 08/08/2012 04:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm a white dude. I am not a racist. I used to listen to rap/hip hop but have sort of moved on to other genres of music. I do not take that as racist in the least. Is there a difference between an ordinary 9-5 run of the mill white dude like me and a world famous "cool" hip hop artist? You're damn straight there is. So what. Just because race is mentioned or addressed doesn't mean that there is malice in it. I don't know 50 Cent. But I know his company, SK Energy, donates millions of dollars to world hunger programs as a result of selling these energy shots. Granted, it's through the UN so chances are it's a galactic boondoggle and waste money because the UN is utterly worthless. But that's not 50 Cent's fault. And I give the guy tons of credit for his mission. He's a guy with a checkered past who is clearly intending to do some good in the world. If he sells a few energy shots by poking fun of people, and himself in case you didn't bother noticing, big deal. This isn't racism. I laugh my ass off every time I hear it. |

Quoting: Settle Down 21561278 YOU need to settle down. The issue here is that if the races were reversed, and a white dude was "poking fun" at a black dude, the 'stank' that would result from millions of "victimized" blacks (and the looney lefties that love to keep them victimized) being up in arms would end in a f*cking congressional investigation, lawsuits and race baiters flooding the airwaves. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 22093701 United States 08/16/2012 07:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | They changed the ad so now instead of saying "white dude" they inserted the words "some dorky guy". Anyway, I would like to clarify something about this ad: The initial speaker does NOT sound like a "white dude". He instead sounds like some 97 pound weakling asking the hottest girl in school to prom, while trying at the same time not to pee in his pants. Second, The fact that the drink will turn you from the previously mentioned dork who had decent sentence-structure and pronunciation into some in-articulate douche-bag with only a rudimentary grasp of the English language (no doubt the result of a fourth grade education in a public school) is NOT AN IMPROVEMENT. ie: "das why I created sk energy shots, it's a smoov frush." Lastly: Mr. Cent, you didn't create sk energy shots. The only thing you've ever created is really, shitty music you ignorant, racist bitch. Go shove a can of your crappy energy drink up your ass while I enjoy a monster java. Aveles has spoken. |

tragicmick User ID: 22122211 United States 08/17/2012 11:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You should be racist. But not combatively, not in a sense of superiority, but of representative RESPECT. The races are here for a reason. "Our" destiny, IMO, is not to homogenize into one "mutt" race, but to LEARN to get along. Minorities are MILKING things, the current view of "whites" by "black" pop culture should TEACH you something. If you trace your heritage back through time, you will find you were probably BOTH a slave and a master at some point. But you SURVIVED. Blacks "saying" whites are whimps, says more about them, than it does about whites. 50 cent is a piece of trash IMO. I've seen him in movies. He's a dull eyed/brained thug, on a fairytale ride provided by the very people who don't "negotiate with terrorists" from what I can tell. Ever notice how even the warmongers are milktoast appeasers these days? Who have NEVER taken a life directly themselves. Anonymous Coward User ID: 22302013 United States 08/20/2012 01:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As a black man, I was also bothered by this ad. The original version clearly implies that speaking like a white guy is somehow inferior to speaking as a black man. I was also disappointed that 50 Cent showed such poor judgement in releasing a pathetic ad like this. If the roles were reversed SK Energy would be facing public scrutiny and good old Rev. Al and Jessie would be on every news network calling for SK Energy to be shut down. The double standard and the race card are old and tired. We have reached a level as a people where neither is necessary, and when used they simply appear as a weak attempt from a weak human being. |

See, vitamin water was a mega hit and it did not require any racist, assinine comments about which white people are expected to be "good natured". Screw Fifty Cents till he is a quarter. |

eg User ID: 22614757 United States 08/26/2012 02:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | all i want to say is that if you took a high school english class you would know that he is just using a guy with a different voice to show that when you dont have energy your not your self. People that think he's being racist are just ignorant I've heard African Americans talk the way the first voice sounds and its very rude to judge some ones commercials when you probably have no experience in the area and i guess you can have an opion but its racist to say an African American can't sound that way. just saying |
