My family thinks I am the enemy, simply because I am peaceful and see things vastly different than they do. Short of re-thinking the political asylum angle I considered about ten years ago, there is no relief to be had. We have been stripped of everything that we thought was honorable. Outside of sites such as GLP, no one cares, and, no one listens. We are the voices crying out in the virtual world, a wilderness that ironically marks as as wackos. Well, our eyes may be open, but, there's not a damn thing we can do to fix what's broken. I am sick of war. I am sick of lies and deceit. I am sick of being powerless against all the schemes that have, and still are, screwing around with my security and pursuit of happiness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Okay; I've had my say. Back to Bizzaro World, where I tell myself that everything is, and will continue to be, fine. 'Glorius Denial' is the misnomer I use, to explain how I manage to go on as if I were truly in control of my future. As my dearly-departed hubby would have said, I am a pubic hair's width away from losing everything. Now, on top of that, I have to deal with theese amplified wargames. Life blows a dead pig.  lots of people feel the same way - if u want 2 fight it, the best way is on the local level - I watched a lot of people get elected on the local level - it's a start.  Logically speaking, this could work ONLY IF there was a country-wide contingent of HONEST people all running at the same time, and, all elected at the same time. It would have to be a new political party, whose theme was honesty in government. Its main platform would have to state that each and every member VOWS not to give in to the military-industrial complex, or, be swayed by corporate interests, that lobbying would be eradicated in favour of the will of the people ONLY. That, at each and every step along the way to drafting, introducing, and, finally, passing news laws, would be guided by a new system of voting, where THE PEOPLE get to choose what's important, with their majority will ALONE being addressed and implemented. Although this may sound logical, by now we all know that logic doesn't rule this world. OF COURSE, this won't, and can NEVER, happen. To think otherwise would a pipe-dream of immense, fucked-before-you-even-begin proportions. It would never be allowed. Just as what has happened with the Tea Party, outside interests will twist and infiltrate the message, muddying it until it is perceived to be something worthy of ridicule...whatever it takes to keeps us divided. Our country has been run much too long as a clandestine operation of behind-the-scenes interests, poised to insure that their will be done, on earth, as it is in their tax havens. They will give us this day, our daily bread, and, forgive us our tresspasses....because, of course, they know that we know so very little truth. We are their minions, who occasionally get thrown a bone, so we will remain good little sheeple. So, TTX8K82, as I originally stated, I am burnt. This is why some of us muse beyond reason that a GFL exists to finally save us, while we search the internet for any voices of reason that pulls at our particular heart-strings. This sounds like the origins of religion. The eternal need to believe in something greater than ourselves, once we realize that what we are trying to do isn't working.
