Big White Light Star Orb Thing In The Sky Tonight.

saw the same thing in central Ca. Low and moving eastward.

I saw it to...it was unuasually white light no sound seemed to creep along. What's crazy is I am also laying out watching the sky tonight

I like a person that takes the initiative to look up instead of the normal focal point, this way you can verify for yourself, carful though, people will ridicule you for what you see, look at the moon, it seems as though tiny light particules are shooting off in random directions.

me to in huntsville AL around 9pm when i was about to get in my car I saw it and went back in the house to show my kids and they saw it too before it was out of our view heading NE, so i was heading to madison right by redstone arsenal to my moms, got out the car there and the military had their chopper in the air that me and my brother see all the time with a bright red flashing light flying in a 2 mile circle dropping flares from 10pm until after 12am and that chopper is loud for that time of night in a very quiet neighborhood

I live there too! Small world. But unfortunately I did not get to see it. That's strange that they had the chopper out.

i saw it the night before on the 6th white orb moving east northeast kinda and the way it moves or fly is more like a slow hovering flight then a straight line flight like planes and helicopters and quiet it went right over my head until the point i was look straight up when it was passing and thats when i went and showed the kids before it got out of site

yeah i was thinking maybe they seen it on radar or it was reported so they sent a helicopter out to drop flares to say people might have seen them training. my dad just retired from the military last year and he said its some type of training they doing but he dont know what for

Ok. Only lasted an hour and ten minutes but it was great. Tracked 5 satelites. Saw 4 shooting stars. Just caught a fireball out of corner of my eye and then it dissapeared behind the tree line. Big place to keep an eye on. Was set up under the Milky way and looking south. Seems to be more action looking towards the big W. The fireball was in the east. Hole in the net and the misquito's started to eat me alive. I'll fix it for tomorrow. Dogs drove me nuts. They though this was odd me being out there and everytime the horse's got to close they freaked out. Everybody's getting locked up tomorrow night. Was very peaceful and relaxing for the most part.Very enjoyable. The moon was just starting to make an appearance. Seems almost to far east but what ever. What do I know.Thats my report. Same time tomorrow.

I'm in the tri-cities area, I was out last night and saw the exact same thing. No way it was a star because it was so close. No way it was an air plane because it was too high and no blinking lights. It was BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT white and moved across the sky like a satellite... only it wasn't a satellite because of how close it was.

The ISS was supposed to be visible tonight

In the past two weeks, I saw a "star" which "blinked" with the following sequence. Blink - 5 seconds dark - blink - 5 seconds dark - faint blink and then gone. Saw it twice in different days and in different areas of the sky. Searched the net for what irridium flares looks like, but it was nothing like this.

Thats not what this is. This is way too low for that. Lower than the big jets. Flying at about the height a small plane would.About the size of a baseball to put it in perspective. I saw it at around 10:20-10:30? BC Time. Its almost 1:00 here now.

Guess what guys -- you are watching the International Space Station! It's big, bright, white, fast, and silent. Go to NASA.gov for tracking info. You can see it almost every night thru mid-August.

There's another thread tonight about seeing nubiru and others have seen the big bright white light tracking across the sky.

I've seen the Space Station doing its orbit. This was not the space station. Trust me.

Have continued to see this thing on many occasions, Usually between 9-11:30 pm almost everynight. Always heading east. Too low for a satelite or ISS. So what the hell is it.

Saw the same thing two nights ago. I've seen it before a couple years back. I live on the coast; there were three out above the bay the first time hovering then they flew east super fast one by one. Two nights ago there was just one, close to being above the bay but still above downtown, flew away fast once we got to be right under it.

i saw something like that a few weeks back, portland oregon...big, solid white light that went from west to east in the pre-dawn sky. didn't ever really deviate from shape or light, watched it go overhead and never saw flashing lights like on a plane but as it receded it had a sort of orange glow to it. no tail. it just sort of changed color. also it was pretty fast.

saw the same white light two nights in a row, on August 5 in Surrey @ 10pm and on August 6 in PoCo @ around 11pm. Tried to search the net for info about it but couldn't find any and found this thread instead.
