I asked around and it seems Moringa has good chances of being propagated indoors in sandy, well-draining soil in a warm sunny area in your home. Also, when you have successfully grown your mother plant, it is better to prune it from the top as the tree can get quite tall. Best of luck and thank you for all your interesting posts! I am still dreaming of bacalhau! |

We transplanted a few to direct ground in the greenhouse and they seem to be doing ok. Our green house gets up to over 100 degrees in the summer and hope those will flourish. We are going totransplant the rest outside in a month. Been eating a lot of fresh salads with lettuce, spinach, swish chard, mustard, bok choy, radishes nasturtium, broccoli, and moringa. All from the greemhouse with no additional heat. the broccoli and lettuce grew outside all winter. |

Never experienced such an easy to grow plant. She might loose the leaves once in a time but don't worry although they seem dead within a few weeks they're bushy again. Most important thing is water management. They don't like wet feet so don't overdo it. Don't be afraid to cut them down to about 20cm above the ground, it's a very fast grower. dzjeezus |
