Waiting on my gel caps and pill maker, I'm afraid it's the only way I'm going to be able to get the powder down. I last about 3 days in mixing it in juice, or whatever, by the 4th I dread it so much I quit. :(
To each their own I guess. From what I've read heating it damages some of the nutrients, and I just can't find a way to incorporate it into my diet without cooking it.
I should be getting my stuff from amazon soon.
On the days I have ingested the moringa, I do feel better, but I have been doing so before bed. I'm not sure why but by taking it in the AM, I feel somewhat lethargic. I already have low blood pressure and sugar, so maybe it's just too much for my system ??? I'm not sure, some of the studies I have read state it helps both high and low BP so we'll have to see.
I still believe the benefits outweigh the risk, which is the criteria I live my life by.
Taking it in the evening I tend to sleep better, and wake up feeling very rested.
To date, I have ten sprouts to my 20 planted moringa seeds. It is getting pretty chilly at night, and I may have to bring them in soon. According to the literature on moringa, 70~90* is necessary for germination. Luckily, I planted them early enough for that to happen.
I plan on re-potting them and putting them in a SE window, along with a grow light. Hopefully I won't attract the attention of the many low flying, heat seeking, infrared carrying "marijuana patrolling " helicopters here !!!
I appreciate this thread to monitor everyone's experience with moringa. I may not always post positive results, but they will be truthful :)
