A better question would be,
how is this verse about Satan.

"Lucifer has become a by-word for Satan in the Church and in popular literature", as in Dante Alighieri's Inferno and John Milton's Paradise Lost.

LOL

Have you even read Isaiah ?

Smoke and mirrors. Why are you avoiding my question?

But, I'll be gracious and answer yours.

There is no verse or passage in the Bible that says, “Lucifer is Satan,” but an examination of several passages reveals that Lucifer can be none other than Satan. The fall of Lucifer described in Isaiah 14:12 is the same that Jesus referred to in Luke 10:18:

"I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.”

A similar fall is depicted in Ezekiel 28. Notice that it is talking about Satan, who was in the Garden of Eden:

“‘You were the seal of perfection,
full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
You were in Eden,
the garden of God;
...
You were anointed as a guardian cherub,
for so I ordained you.
You were on the holy mount of God;
you walked among the fiery stones.
You were blameless in your ways
from the day you were created
till wickedness was found in you.
...
So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God,
and I expelled you, guardian cherub,
from among the fiery stones.
 Quoting: Adventus Domini

Yes, but the the "Isaiah" passage in question does not connect, either historically or theologically, with the New Testament passages about the devil or the satan.

so not you failed to answer truthfully.

Also, Mount Horeb is not Mount Zaphon

Theodoret of Cyrus (c. 393 – c. 457) wrote that Isaiah calls the king "morning star", not as being the star, but as having had the illusion of being it.

What do you mean the Isaiah passage doesn't connect to what Jesus is speaking of? Absolutely it does. They are talking about the same event.

And, what on God's green earth does Mt. Horeb have to do with anything?

And finally, who is Theodoret of Cyrus (sounds like an old SNL skit with Steve Martin) and why do I care what he has to say about anything?
 Quoting: Adventus Domini

Good sir, what event would that be?
Just cause Jesus seen Satan fall from the sky as lighting does not mean the Isaiah passage is talking about the same thing, you don't understand Isaiah do you ?

Ezekiel 28
"So I drove you in disgrace from the mount of God"

Isaiah 14
"I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon"

LOL
come on Satan, pick one mountain to sit enthroned on..
plus why would Satan want to sit enthroned on Mount Zaphon ?

that's just stupid.
