Sure they will. Although Russia has migrated from a communist state to a superstition ridden place that can charge you with "blasphemy" they still retain some of the old tsarist prisons and persuasion techniques. A few months of sleep deprivation, rape and starvation rations, will certainly take their "inner" freedom away. If they actually get out they will be full service orthodox Putin lovers.

I hope you aren't being sarcastic, because I truly am trying to help people understand that they can't expect any government to help free them from their suffering. All the constitutions, all the wars, all the so called great and powerful leaders throughout history and people are still do better off than they have ever been.
