The International Peace Garden seems to encode the rising position of both Sirius and the Orion Nebula much like how the Egyptians encoded the positions of Sirius and Orion in shafts of the Great Pyramid of Egypt. As above, so below.

In 2012 the heliacal rising of Sirius occurs at the garden on August 11. This is also the day that the Masons and the Order of the Eastern Star, which is Freemasonry for women, both chose to have their annual general meetings there.
