PREDICTION: Israeli Strike On Iran Will Take Place October 15th

This is it folks. This is the prediction of all predictions. I have no doubt in my mind of what is going to unfold in the Middle East over the next few months. Israel and/or US will hit Iran’s nuclear facilities on October 15th.

Yes, we’ve heard this hundreds of times before, but this time is different. Both sides have talked tough over the years, but now it’s moving from talk, to preparations and action.

Israel has literally walled itself in. In June, Israel completed a 7 meter high wall separating Israel from Lebanon. The wall is equipped with cameras and motion detectors which covers approximately 1,200 meters. To the South, Israel is building a 230 kilometer fence along it’s border with Egypt and 60,000 workers are moving at a frantic pace to complete the project. Other notables; the West Bank, where they’ve built an 8 meter high “separation barrier,” and Jordan, where plans are in work for construction of another wall. Jordanian King Abdullah told WSJ “Israel has to decide; does it want to be part of the neighborhood, or fortress Israel?” Looks as if they chose not to be part of the neighborhood…

Fences are great, but it does nothing to stop Iranian and Hezbollah missiles. This week Home Front Command began the fortification of dozens of critical infrastructure including water, power, oil refineries and communication towers. The facilities in question have been defined by the government as “strategic facilities” that may be targeted in the event of a military strike against Israel. The project which includes reinforced concrete alongside other protective measures, aims to see the facilities either withstand a hit completely or sustain “containable damage.” The fortification of the infrastructure will be completed within weeks.

Construction projects aren’t the only form or preparation in Israel. With the threat of an attack on Iran’s nuclear installations and the uncertainty about Syria’s chemical weapons, the government has been handing out gas masks. As of now, 53% of Israelis have gas masks. The initial target was to have 4.5 million gas masks distributed by next year, but the goal will probably be met this year, Brig. Gen. Zvi Tessler said.

Home Front Command has been pretty busy lately and not just with gas masks. The Home Front Command, in conjunction with the various rescue and emergency bodies in Haifa (Israel’s 3rd largest city near Lebanon), took part in the largest home front drill ever held. The exercise simulated hundreds of rockets striking the city including direct hits on strategic buildings. The two day drill involved units specializing in search and rescue operations in coping with non conventional weapons attacks, as well as the Israeli police, the Israel Fire and Rescue Serves, Magen David Adom, and the National Emergency Authority.

It hasn’t just been Israel prepping for DOOM, but also Iran. An Iranian news agency is reporting the country has begun to stockpile a three-month supply of foodstuffs for its population. Deputy industry minister Hasan Radmard was quoted as saying the country has been buying wheat, cooking oil, sugar and rice for the food reserve. Radmard said the decision came based on a decree by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in recent weeks.

Iran has also launched a crash mega-fortification program for sheathing their nuclear facilities. Rocks are being gathered from afar, piled on key nuclear installations, covered with many tons of poured concrete and finally plated with steel. The concrete being poured on the installations is an invention Iran calls “super concrete,” which is supposedly the strongest in the world and capable of stopping the Massive Ordnance Penetrator from penetrating. If the US and Israel leaves Iran alone to complete this project, they will have forfeited the opportunity of pre-empting Iran’s nuclear program- only inflicting partial and temporary damage at best.

Many countries often prepare themselves via stockpiling, drills, ect., but what’s the logic behind October 15th as THE DAY? Let me start with September. In September, 20 nations will stage anti-mining exercises in the Mideast waterways. The large minesweeping drill will be held from the 16th-27th. The upcoming exercise will focus on “a hypothetical threat from an extremist organization to mine the international strategic waterways of the Middle East, including the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Gulf of Oman, and the Persian Gulf, although exercise activities will not extend into the Strait of Hormuz,” U.S. Central Command said in a statement. It will not extend into the straight of Hormuz, but look where the Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf are located… It looks like a straight of Hormuz sandwich. This will be the final drill to test the readiness of the 20 nations and is a message to Iran that they cannot successfully mine the straight. Also in September, the US will send a second aircraft carrier to the region several months ahead of schedule.

Then comes Obama’s October surprise… Israel and the US are set to hold their largest ever joint military exercise in October, featuring thousands of US and Israeli soldiers and advanced anti-missle defense systems, and simulation simultaneous fire from Iran and Syria. No timetable has yet been given for a start date in October, but that really does not affect my prediction.

Israel will either strike Iran first, dragging the US into the fight, or it will be the US taking the lead from the start. In regards to the US leading, Obama and his dirty politics comes into play. A devastating strike would create an upsurge of patriotism in America and fully neutralize Mitt Romney’s contention that Obama is a foreign-policy wimp. It could allow Obama to sweep to victory in November. One reason he might is that Mitt Romney is singlehandedly pushing the entire debate about Israel and Iran to the right. The parameters have changed markedly. But as Romney calls for "any and all measures" to stop Iran, Obama surely could deflate his sails by launching a strike in October. If it worked, he would be hailed as a hero. The consequences of a strike wouldn't be felt for at least a few weeks—the nightmare scenario is that an oil shock would result in a quadrupling of oil prices, plunging the world into a new Great Depression. A strike mid October would allow enough time for Obama to sail back into office as a tough foreign-policy president.

If Israel feels they cannot count on Obama, they will strike Iran and force the US into the picture. By coincidence, or possibly design, if an Israeli strike does go-ahead in October it will take place just as thousands of troops are in the country with state-of-the-art defense systems. So if an Israeli strike does go ahead in October, they will be perfectly placed to help defend Israel against an expected Iranian counter strike. The end result is that if Israel does attack, it will be able to point to this military exercise as an example of U.S. encouragement of such an approach. Bibi will quite reasonably argue: Why did you show us all this missile defense hardware designed to protect us in the event we strike Iran, if you didn’t expect us to do so?

Again, why October 15th? This is an easy one for the GLPtards. October 15th is the new moon! There will be no better time for an airstrike; weather permitting. At this point, Iran is expecting an attack and is prepared. It’s too late for surprises; each side is expecting war. That being said, there is the chance things could move faster, possibly pushing the strike to September 16th when the 20 nations start their anti-mining drills. September 16th is also a new moon. Anyways, I’m positive the strike will take place on October 15th or before. If I’m wrong, I will never go on GLP again!

This will not be Afghanistan, this will not be Iraq, this is going to change the way we all live our daily lives. I wish I could expand on how our lives will change, but frankly typing this thread has been exhausting and I have shit to do.

At this point it doesn’t matter what side of the issue you’re on, but what you’ll do to prepare you and your loved ones.
