i dont see any reason why an attack on Iran will be any different than Iraq, especially in terms of how it affects us citizens in our day to day lives

It is quds force not Hezbollah. The targets will not be soft such as shopping malls and kids playgrounds. Keep an eye on refineries. That is all.
