I'm clicking those links and see train derailments. About a month ago, I got stuck in traffic near some tracks and sat there for a good 15 minutes. I finally gave up and turned around and went back up the road. I found out later a train derailed. Now I'm fucking scared.

I know my daughter and I heard them here in Florida right around the same time as the Japan earthquake. Not sure of the exact date. Scared the heck out of both of us. We live near the Space Center and an AFB so we are familiar with rocket and jet sounds. These are clearly different. I remember thinking it had something to do with the earth. I would have to check my journal to be certain of the dates and my thoughts at the time.

I think there was one huge one/crack in the earth which suddenly appeared think it was in Ohio. I saw a photo of it, people were stunned, standing around looking at it, a few months back.

Oh dear. And only recently (this year) my same friend who shared the Navy link with me, also showed me another one of those worldwide energy releases which registered on data charts everywhere at the same time. I've also seen a similar phenomenon, when watching the quake charts. What I saw was actually just a very weird pulse, which was worldwide all at the same time (not so much a hard shake, that time). As she put it: "the Earth is ringing like a bell".

What is really important, and awful is that in our childrens' chools, they all tell the children to 'get under your desks!' and you know, children they always obey, in school authority they would not think 'this is the wrong thing to do, in a mega quake, this building is going to come down and crush my desk and I will most probably be killed by crushing'. So they always just do it, cause they been brainwashed and made to follow orders, no matter what is illogical and dangerous, and the parents they are also unaware that in a megaquake, this is the wrong thing to do.

So they (all those children in schools at the time a megaquake hits the USA) will be most likely crushed to death, becuase of a stupid, inhumane and crazy, outdated dangerous protocol that the schools and states have continued to endorse and enforce.

they should be trained to 1) get outside quick, (this should be made priority to re-think, re-route and re-build or amend the buildings, this could be easy to do)

2) in classes or rooms where they cannot immediately get all outside within 30 seconds or so,
they need the triangle of life protocol used immediately, which is easily done. IN EVERY CLASSROOM, BATHROOM AND CAFETERIA.

NEWSPAPERS, BOUND AND STACKED, ROWS, ACCESSIBLE TO EVERY CHILD TO GET NEXT DOWN TO, CROUCHING AND THAT NEWSPAPER BUNDLE/ROW WILL NOT COMPRESS. Those children will not be crushed, will have a chance to be found alive when the search crews start digging hours later..

On one of the USGS forums I was using, a man claimed to know what was causing the booms and then went into great detail on what to look for.

His post, and the entire thread have long since been purged.

However, what he said stuck with me and from that point on I was waiting for the signs.

He claimed that the booms were the result of Super Fracking that had exposed a large underground cavern that sat against an exposed section of a subsection of the Madrid fault. That when this happened they knew they'd messed up big time. From then on the US Gov has been undergoing a 24/7 operation of keeping the cavern pressurized with fluid, to prevent the methane from travelling through the fault and destabalizing it.

I agree; and I can't stand how children are treated in our public schools. I think it's a shame and a violation of their rights to make schooling compulsory. Maybe if schooling was strictly voluntary, school officials might be obliged to care a bit more about our children (and their educations). I bet many kids wouldn't hate it so much, as they now do. They pile on too much homework, too. Not enough down time (so they can read books of their own choosing), family time, or play time. Not trying to change the subject, but I just feel very strongly about that. I also agree with you that they are generally not safe enough in those buildings.

I almost forgot...gas is leaking off the coast of Cali as well, found by a group of grad students 3 weeks ago.
