Mods, I have been on here for 7 months daily. I have always wondered how it is decided what threads are flagged or pinned. Without looking deeply I always thought it was defined by responses/stars/paid members. But I became a paid member a couple of weeks ago and posted a thread that got a great response today. However I saw new posts with 200 hits, 10 comments and 3 stars flagged? Some are not even paid members that get some love. I see one of my peers has a thread with 18 five stars, 1900 views and 117 responses that has not gotten flagged/pinned. How in the world is this decided? I hardly ever post threads and if I do it's mostly crap. I do read the 0 reply posts a lot though because sometimes they are the most interesting. Pinned threads get boring fast...maybe that's the idea.
