So we were approved for a first time buyers credit at the closing. Now two years later, they're denying our credit which was $1400 at the time, now is over $2800 due to penalties etc. We've faxed them all the information they requested. DL info, utility bills, even dog licenses. We paid $25,000 out the door. Why would they deny our credit all this time? Will we even know we were alive when we're dead?

There is no reason, you deal with the devil, that's what happens. I'd sooner live in a shipping container before I ever borrow money to buy a house.
