Missing cousins, still missing. Evansdale Iowa!

Where did you see or hear of them being last? Do you live in a large city? If so I wouldn't be suprised if they got jumped and murdered. It's a pretty common thing these days in america.

Most people don't disappear with out telling anyone, some one makes them disappear.

How awful.. They are dead. The poor families.
Just the thought of losing my kids makes me cry. So very sad.

A few weeks back, the local Des Moines, IA news was reporting that they had "reason to believe the girls were still alive." But of course no details of why they believed that. I grew up in Iowa and remember when Johnny Gosch was kidnapped. Then Eugene Martin. It really robbed us of a sense of security and safety in our own backyards. I was always looking over my shoulder and suspicious of strangers. Even today as an adult I am very aware of my surroundings, which is a good thing. Its just a shame when you're 9, it strips that safe feeling right away.

Hunters found 2 bodies in a wooded area at 12:45 this afternoon.

The bodies were taken to the medical examiner for autopsies & identification.

This is heartbreaking. I grew up in Evansdale in the 70's and it was peaceful tight-knit community. My friends and I never worried about our safety around town. I guess no place is truly safe anymore. I hope they find the monster who did this fast.
